Is this praxis - why should I hand out my ID card to the court archives to get a court copy old.?
This is Thailand, not Europe, so if they ask for your ID, then that is it...????

Presumably when and if you die, like myself.. do not want to go thru due process of lawyers, bank agreements etc. Confident in UK has my ATM numbers, plus details of banking issues whoever wants my money,a call to him ,plus recovery of ATM card from my now deceased body provides all
I've made a Last Will - or rather two, one here, and one in my home country for any assets that might be left there - with a will there is no problems if someone cash money out from an ATM-card, as I've already stated in the will that the someone - whom I've already given my card-code for emergency protection - shall be granted some instant survival cash. I'm not married to that someone, so in principle she's not an heir, if I don't mention her in a will, and therefore she would in principle be "stealing" if she's emptying my bank account after my death, so that situation I'm also preventing...????

I think in a western country it would deemed to be rather odd for a 6 yr old to be still sleeping in mummies bed. But maybe in Thailand its normal.
Anyone else have experiences with this?
It's pretty normal in Thai culture, to my understanding.
Six years are long time, it might soon come to an end, but it could also continue some more years. It's my impression that when it's a daughter, it can last for quite some time, but I think a boy wish to move out sooner.
Difficult to give any advice, as you might hit a culture gap, which might not be as easy to handle in real life, as writing "excellent advice" in a forum, I'm sorry that I can't do better.
I didn't experience this, as I employed a live-in combined young maid and nanny that slept with my daughter in the child-bedroom. When the last maid got boyfriend and wish to marry after about six years with us, my daughter also was of an age, i.e. 9 years old, where she preferred to sleep alone.

Find something that interests you, and get just as passionate with that, as you once were with enjoying a beer, or even more passionate. If you are into social media, like posting in ASEN New forum, there might be a few of the many groups on Facebook, which are sharing stuff that you might find interesting - I for example follows a few that makes me wish that I had a lot more time available...????- 3

They quoted Tourism and Sports Minister Pipat Ratchakitprakan as saying that 2021 tourism spending was targeted to be 850 BILLION baht.
This would be four percent BETTER than last year when it was only 814 billion.
It sounds like it could be from the next predicted 110,000 Phuket Sandbox-visitors that arrives in August and September...????

In a way understandable, i.e. accuse health minister Anutin for alleged false vax statements.

A problem might be that they don't want to change work, especially to work that might have lower status.
I was surprised when I found out that some of our Thai friends, who used to work in tourism, prefers to be unemployed and just wait for better time, than taking up a job, even there plenty af available positions, which they considers as lower status.
The article also mentions that Thais consider the available job as low status, even if offered a higher salary the minimum wage...
“They are jobs that Thai workers don’t want to do,” Suchart said, referring to labour-intensive factory work.
[ ... ]
Suparp, who is also vice chairman of the Thai National Shippers’ Council, said the labour shortage now has firms competing for workers, with many offering pay above the minimum daily wage of 300 baht($9.13) – paying 400 or even 500 baht.

I think same issues (return ticket...type of info demanded on vaccine certificate) plus Phuket has to be a direct flight. I already have a return ticket into Bangkok, there is a small chance I could get it re-issued with a connection to Samui but no way I can get it changed to be direct to Phuket as the airline doesn't fly there.
I am a returning expat so have to come one way or the other, and if possible would rather be confined in a "sandbox" than a Bangkok hotel room. But it is looking very, very difficult if not impossible to arrange.
If you already have a return ticket to BKK, you cannot use Samui+, to do that, you need an all-way-through ticket in code-share with Bangkok Airways. You could try if you can re-book your tickets to one for Samui...
There is a link for list of code-share partners HERE (scroll down a bit for the list).

Not a visa issue but TAT website said book return flight hence the question.
Another issue is the informatiom they require to be on the vaccine certificate (nationality, passport number etc) -- does not conform to what government issued vaccine card in my country has and AFAIK no possible way to get what they required here (USA).
Between this and not allowing separately booked connecting flughts they have effectively made iy almost impossible to participate in this scheme.
If you need to get to Samui, entering Phuket Sandbox might be an option, and then commute to Samui after 7 days.

...2 trays eggs...
If you bought one tray of eggs only, there might have been a tray og eggs for someone else, since the suppliers didn't count with people storing extra...????
The most thing to make sure to keep in stock could be toilet paper, it all disappeared so fast last time there was a Covid-panic...????
I don't stock more than normal, usually we have enough to survive a week or two, but it's mainly due to convenience for larger shoppings, and a selection to chose from in the freezer - and by the way, only one tray of eggs - during the heavy Covid-lockdown last year, there were no supply problems where I live...????

The number of active cases approx. 36 yesterday + 39 new today equals 75 in total, which number shall be be compared to around 100,000 people living on the island (circa 90,000-120,000) counted for vaccination purposes, so its, 75 per 100,000 inhabitants or 750 per million, of which some might not be sick, just tested positive.
Thailand has in total 185,000 active cases today, divided with 70 million inhabitant it equals (185,976/69.988) 2,657 cases per million.
It's still not as bad as other places in the nation, and hopefully all black night owls get tested,
