don't assume you will get pfizer. There are 150k spared doses, but some of them go to diplomats, the UN, thai students going abroad and sportsmen.

it wasn't mentioned at all during sign up, not even implied.

Yet another 1mln donated will be coming later, but not date set.

The news articles mentioned 1.5 million Pfizer-vaccines, of which half would be used as booster for front line health workers. From the remaining half 150,000 doses will be given to foreigners, i.e. 75,000 persons having two jabs each.

The driver blamed the road for being too dark and not having enough lights for the accident and not his driving skills.

Accidents are always sad, however accidents always seems to be somebody else's fault - in my Danish home country we would say that "it's the fault of society" that there were not enough light on the road.

I'm out of the discussion as we had virtually nothing when we got married 42 years ago.  So it would be 50/50.  But now I'm about to double our net worth due to an inheritance.  I wonder how that works.  Not that I really give a <deleted>, just curious.

According to the book Thai Law for Foreigners, inheritance for a Thai wife during a marriage is separate property; unfortunately I didn't see anything in the book if a foreign husband's inheritance is also considered separate property.

There are now "urgent measures" being introduced on Samui and KPN to control Covid 19. This was issued by the governor of Suratthani, Aug 7th.

Convenience stores and restaurants must be closed from 11:00 PM - 4:00 AM.

Alcohol is prohibited, a maximum of 5 people per table.

Thanks, they are listed in the pinned thread about Samui 2021...

How unoriginal of you.  I think you were trying to make a joke out of a serious topic.

What I had hoped you might refer to is the great Ian Fleming  novel, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Spy_Who_Loved_Me_(novel)

This is one of Ian Fleming's most sexually explicit novels.

Most of the action takes place in the balcony of a movie theatre, where the protagonist gets what he is looking for.

I read this book at age 13.

So, if you are not James Bond, getting everything in the balcony of a cinema, then why go?

Some guys have been arrested for doing far less than James Bond at the cinema, but, who would arrest 007 for suction in the balcony?

    More power to him.

I'm unfortunately dead serious, but often with a bit of good humor in my postings, and I'm a passionate film and cinema lover...????

Does that specific policy duration have to be for the length of time for my visa or can it be for 10 or 30 days after which I can get more comprehensive local policy covering a wider range?

I've always heard the "length of your stay", i.e. the number of days your entry stamp would be, which would normally equal your granted length of stay based on retirement.
