  2. So you have also read the book about how to establish a successful business in Thailand...????
  3. I missed this part in the book about how to establish a successful business in Thailand...
  4. And they – the resort- and tourist business owners – wants bridge and more airplane arrivals, so more people can come to the island and use water and other infrastructure already in shortage...
  5. 1. In principle yes, but many works for foreign clients "under the radar" and officially live of their savings. Be aware, that foreign money transferred into Thailand during the same tax year (calendar year) as earned are fully income taxable in Thailand, while waiting with transfer to the following year, or any later year, magically has changed the money's status to savings, which are tax free ti transfer. 2. When married to a Thai you can apply for work permit. However, if you work on your own you need to set up a company, which can be a partnership limited with your wife; she needs to own 51% of the partnership. You also need two Thai employees for a work permit to a foreigner, one of the employees can be your wife. 3. Yes, there is the new LTR-visa for remote workers, you can read more HERE.
  6. If you need to travel with Lomprayah catamarans, it is advised to book two days in advance due to high demand for tickets up to Songkran. There are at the moment three daily trips to Koh Tao from Koh Samui, and seven daily trips to Koh Phangan. Tourism Association of Koh Samui is also negotiating with Bangkok Airways for extra flights up to Songkran. Read more HERE in Khaosod English.
  7. Way 2, a new nightclub In Chaweng Beach's Green Mango-area a new night club named "Way 2" will open next Saturday. It's built in the parking lot behind former Black Club. The manager in Green Mango Club told me that they seems to be aiming on the same Thai-audience as former Black, with an indoor airconditioned venue. Still under construction view from outside... Bar installation and light check last night about 2 am...
  8. To my knowledge not "extra 90 days", but a total of 90 days from initial entry date.
  9. There is to my knowledge not a "digital nomad"-visa for Thailand, but there is a newer remote worker-visa...
  10. They spent more than 2 years in South Korea – first safe country – I wonder what other nations they contacted from there to apply for asylum...
  11. Probably not, as you have been registered...????
  12. Yes, but perhaps ASEAN NOW's intelligent chatbot knows that ED-visa is Thailand...
  13. I tried to ask a serious question and got in fine answer, actually quite good... Question: Dependant visa for schoolchild on ED visa? Answer (after a little while thinking): If a child is studying in Thailand on an Education (ED) visa, their dependent (e.g. parent) can apply for a dependent visa. This dependent visa is known as a Non-Immigrant O visa. The dependent visa will allow them to stay with the child and become their legal guardian. To apply for a dependent visa, you will need to provide the required documents to the Thai embassy or consulate in your country. These documents typically include the child's ED visa, proof of relationship
  14. Me too – i.e., watching the traffic, especially scary dangerous tourists trying to drive on a motorbike – there is a stone-shop on the land side by the new Fishman Village-Bang Rak Road-roundabout. There are furthermore a couple of shops on both sides of the Ring Road towards Maenam.
  15. I wrote "... if you own your own condo or house...", so the owner is the landlord...????
  16. Probably on the Ring Road in Bo Phut and Maenam area, where there are several shops selling stone or concrete stuff; I've seen them there, but don't recall by memory exactly which shop(s)...????
  17. Seems like that if you just stay abroad some years, just like a red bull, you can avoid prison term...
  18. I have a small fixed fee for the meter – just under 25 baht plus v.a.t. – I presume it's the same on a temporary supply; it might be a different fee. But it's long time since I had temporary supply when building, and I don't remember details, and I don't know if I kept any bill somewhere. When I made concrete decks I installed a water pipesunderneath, in case I one day would have the option for public water supply. The piped ended visible with a cover on top. It can also end in a small well-shaft or like, so it ready for connection to the public line. I actually used my pipe later, as I installed water tanks, after I gave up using the well; I'm living too close to the beach, so the well water was not enough and of good enough quality.
  19. You can do 90-days address report up to one week after due date. It's easy to do online. Address report is not checked when leaving the country and resets when re-entering. I don't know if a former missing 90-days address report can be a problem later, so why not just use the online option...????
  20. So it's not a "real" immigration office, where you can do annual extensions of stay..?
  21. Because the file you log into is for a house master, and it only updates what that specific house master has registered...????
  22. For house master that can be a user, if you own your own condo or house; a foreigner can own a house, but not the land under it. I'm a registered there, I'm am user, but also house master, so I need to make a TM30 for both myself in my own house, and when I have foreign guests visting me...
