Even 200,000 baht is some money - for a Cambodian girl in Thailand it might be a nice handy sum - then it's likely small money for a Norwegian where the average fortune is $153,522 (2021), especially when it has voluntary been paid in minor lots with 1,000 baht per time over a period of about two years; it's around $31 twice a week. So it equals 200 video sessions of 1,000 baht each... From the article... ...So, both of them had to begin a long-distance relationship via video calls for nearly two years. During that time, Sreem-mom would reportedly tell him to transfer money to help her, a total of about 1,000 baht for each time they called... He likely won't get his money back; so rather take it as a man, learn from the experience, count the loss and move on... By the way, my first kind of Thai relationship was with a gold digger-girl, so I know the feeling, but I was prepared for the risk - a calculated risk given in mainly small lots, plus a few bigger ones for help with problems, even the family didn't have a buffalo - so I just moved on in search for something better. And "my" gold digger got more than 200.000 baht. But even we had a long distance relationship with rather expensive phone calls - it was before Skype became available - we also had little more physical contact than just one meeting; however, in the always unbearable crystal bright light of hindsight, relative expensive contact...????

It might have been floated a longer distance after being abandoned, the sea current this time of the year is from east. An earlier news article stated that the registration number had been removed, so might be a way for disposal of garbage...???? From the Thai PBS article... The senior naval officer admitted that investigators are still unable to determine the nationality or ownership of the sunken vessel, adding that it might have been decommissioned quite a while ago.

Thailand Well-Prepared For New Wave, Says Minister Anutin

There are some studies available, actually a booster gives a quite high protection for about three months time - you should be able to find studies with Google-search, I haven't kept any links to share - which at present seems to be the level for all boosters, also those with only Western vaccines, which is why some countries now are given second booster, i.e. jab #4. Some countries have reduced the vaccine-immunity to a six month period from last jab, instead of 7 to 12 month. There is page with detailed info about all available Covid-19-vaccines HERE. -

Best would be to move the money during the almost 7 month long 400k baht period, which will make it more easy for the immigration officer to check; or after an extension of stay and with withdrawal and new deposit same day. I've been using the 800k baht in 12-month fixed deposit for long time and even been shopping around between three banks for best interest. I always move a couple of day after my extended stay expired, withdraw and deposit same day, and I never have had any problems. With a 12 month clean deposit it's easy for immigration officer, and she (it's normally the same lady now on days) don't bother checking the maturing time, or ask to see bank book in three month...????

From what I've seen so in the news then Crypto gain is income taxed; if there might be a flat 15 percent option, like on interest, I'm not aware of.
