    It used to be a requirement for Bangkok immigration that, after a retirement visa extension, we had to keep our 800000 baht in the bank account for 2 months then could drain it down to a minimum of 400000 baht until 2 months before the next extension when it had to be increased to 800000 baht again. Is this still the case for Bangkok immigration?

    'Foreign nationals' doesn't always indicate illegal immigrants, as is often implied. The perps could be foreign tourists, or any other legal foreign nationals.

    The eu is desperate fir a defence abd security agreement with the UK, the country with the strongest military abd intelligence capabity in Europe, abd the UK should leverage that advantage for concessions on the trade front instead if giving into the eu on all fronts.

    This is bullsh#t. I live in Sathorn with a view like on the photo and its as clear as a crystal here. Hasn't been anything like they say despite what Ventusky shows. Airvisual also shows its been clear almost everywhere in bkk.

    Yeah, farangs only judge Bangkok's safety on the basis of violence and ignore a whole range of issues that makes it a very unsafe city. Try telling them that and they are up in arms to protect the reputation of their adopted city.

    Hi, I am soon to move condos on 20th September and need to hire a covered pickup truck for the contents removal. It's only 2 BTS stops in distance so companies like Deliveree and Lalamove can't seem to find a driver to accept the job. Any suggestions?

    When you convert foreign currency in thailand through banks or exchanges your passport is copied and ID recorded. That info goes to the tax authorities in both Thailand and your home country automatically. You have then a legal duty to report in an annual self assessment tax return and if that £5000 is earnings then it is liable to taxation.

    Apparently I might be a monist. Don't really know what it is but I believe in mother nature, whoever she is. Nature is randomy guided by natural laws. Nothing to do with an intelligent being but just laws of nature taking their course and we are just a side product of it. When we die we go back to what we were before we were born. Life is far far less than a billion billionth of time and we end up dead for eternity.
