I had to produce to Medicare my travel details. There is a form from Department of Home Affairs that you have to complete to obtain this information. Some departments do not have access to the immigration data base
He is a link to the form.

First time I have seen this in tipping. There were 3 games where we all tipped the same team being Geelong, Melbourne and Freo.
They all lost.

Well done to WB. A great win against all the odds. None of us picked them. Harry Taylor lost the game for Geelong with the first kick for goal of the game. He was 25 metres out in front and kicked a behind. He also had the last kick to win the game and again missed. Send him down back and leave him there after next weeks game.

I had an odd request at SCB yesterday, a bank I've had an account at for 12 years. I asked for a new debit card with a chip and pin option, which was no problem; 100 baht and it was in my hand in ten minutes.
But after signing my passport copy the girl stated that I needed to enter a UK address!
"But I've been living in Phuket for 12 years."
"If you have British passport you need British address."
"Why"
"All foreigners have to give foreign address"
I didn't say any more, just put my parents' address on the form, confirmed that any statement will still contain my Thai address and that was it.
Anyone else come across this?
Last year I too had this problem with the SCB in Phayao. When they were filling out the form on the computer it required an Australian address. I do not have one and told them that. They said the computer required an address in my home country.
I am still using my cracked card.

Well done Alex. A great effort by you.
I disagree with the Swan comment about father time. The young ones they have, are being blooded and are prime to take over.

From 2yr (temporary) to 5yr it is mandatory (from the rules and two times own experience).
From 5yr to 5yr not needed (from the rules and as experienced in March).
What extension did you do?
Mine was 5 years to 5 years. That's why I told OP to check with DLT

Yep, up to one year with additional effort.
Hopefully stick to the rules.
Don't forget the medical certificate for 2yr to 5yr and the proof of residence as usual.
Check with the DLT if medical certificate is required. I did not need one in Phayao on Tuesday.

By the way, I didn't go for the Dockers. Divine intervention was to blame for that result according to Peter Bell. Loved his story on the radio yesterday. The church he attended on Sunday has two collections during the service and he did the right thing with the 1st call for funds and contributed. When the second one came around he casually slipped a note in the receptacle suggesting that if the fellow up top could help the Dockers out that he would make a further donation.
Good luck Ron. I hope your results of the tests are great for you.

I did this in Phayao. The new licence has a new format to my old one. The English translations are now printed immediately below the Thai spellings. The address in English is also on the back below the address in Thai. The English printed address was not there before
I also got it for 5 years and 362 days, that was very good news.
The staff were very helpfully and pleasant

Not true, if you have a current or recently expired passport in good condition issued after about 10 years ago the form must be submitted online. You then have to print it out and go to the embassy or outreach with the form and they will accept the photo if correct (they are fussy) and the form and the fee and you will then receive the passport in a week or two. If you wish they will post it from Bangkok but you are responsible if it goes missing.
On the outreach visits they say they will not accept cash, you must pay in Thai Baht through a Credit or Debit card. They have a machine,
I attended the outreach visit in March this year and they accepted cash from me.

How many can we trade up or we in hibernation until the bye over?
As Grant posted you get an additional trade during the bye rounds. That makes 3 per round during the byes. We are still playing during the bye rounds.

Dear Mr Schwab. Each Friday night game is telecast on channel 7 free-to-air. You are also free-to-choose not to watch , and I don't give a toss that you won't be tuning in.
As for me, I will be glued to the telly from the first bounce with a bowl of coco pops in hand.
I also take this opportunity to remind you that about this round last year when Carlton played Sydney, the mighty Blues won handsomely 15.7 (97) to 11.12 (78)
At that time of day I thought it would be a very cold 6 pack of your favourite beer.

So it looks like I need to renew my passport at the very least 6 months before expiry so I can travel. So does that mean the new passport is in effect immediately you receive or start from the expiry date of your old passport?
Are there rules saying how early you can apply for new passport before expiry of old?
I saw on the Australian Thai embassy website looks like you can apply online
Sent from my SM-J730GM using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
You can apply for a new passport more than 6 months in advance. I did and there was no problem. Your ten years starts from when it is approved in Canberra.
You go online and complete a renewal application. You print this out and present this at the Embassy or in my case at the outreach Embassy visit in Chiang Mai. The cost of the passport and the "Julie Bishop tax" for applying overseas increases every year on the 1st January.

They are stat decs not just forms, but, as stated, departure cards have been discontinued.
Information on arrival cards, apart from Customs and Quarantine declarations, are mainly of interest to the ABS only.
CL obviously have access to the Movements Data Base which they would match with their client base to check comings and goings. They and other departments are not breathlessly waiting to scrutinise 100s of 1000s of cards to see which of their clients ticked which box!
Nobody is adjusting records in 100th of a second to reflect every piece of information on a card.
Very true Old Croc.

The pie man turned defender Madjak Daw is set for his 1st game at Optus stadium.
And in celebration, you guessed it,it's 2 dollar pies for the day.
Only Madjak and his mum could bring this to a game.
I had Billy Hartung and Ryan Clarke scheduled to help Mrs Daw but Brad Scott is taking some convincing.
His first game at Optus oval will be in the stands selling pies. Now I know why he has been "rested"

I did mine in 2016 at Chiang Mai when there was an outreach visit. If Chiang Mai is closer to you check the Website of the Australian Embassy to find out when a visit will be beneficial to you.

Personally, I think he'll get a week.
Careless, medium impact and high.
They will slow it down to the nth degree and say even though Parker only had 0.5 seconds
to react, he should've foreseen the possibility that Impey, (who is smaller) might get injured.
Parker should've taken into account Impey's, weight, height and footy IQ before impact.
The Swans will appeal this and then Michael Christian will go onto every radio station in Australia saying
"it was the easiest decision they've (MRO) had to make all year".
Swans will lose the appeal and penalty will be increased to a month.
The only one who should a months penalty is Christian

Great win for the Swans. I wish they could play better at the SCG.
Man of the match is Ben Ronke. Third AFL game had 10 tackles and kicked 7 goals. Great game young man.

If I go and see a mental health doctor tomorrow and tell them I want kill myself, for no other reason than I want to, They would consider me a suicidal nut job.
Would you help your not in pain father to commit suicide at 94, 84, what about 54.
He actually has said its because his friends are all gone and his failing lifestyle due to his body failure.
