After this weekend and if there is a change of government then expats problems will disappear for a few months or more. All departments will be trying to crawl up to the new government.

Uncle Will is wary of being ambushed by your boys Alex.
We're just going TBH.
Just did enough against the GC.
Hope it's a good game (win) on the big stage this Friday night.
You are tipping WCE by 80 points

English phonic's in thai schools are not taught. Because the thai teachers dont know the correct sounds. It's the teachers teacher (university) who are at fault.
So very true.
I had a conversion with a Thai who spoke limited English. I asked where he worked. He told me he taught English at Phayao university. I almost choked on my beer-

I'm sure Mr Smith and Rip will be happy to lose the tip for the win.
Only Gazman and Radar were good enough to tip Sydney.
Nice work guy's.
Very happy with the win. Rampe tried to give the game to Essendon after the siren.

In Phayao you have to complete a new TM30 if you stay away for a night. This has been in since they opened in 2016. When I completed my first 90 day report at Phayao the officer also checked the TM30 system. It showed that my address was at a hotel in Chiang Mai. He actually showed me the screen. It appears that the system does not revert to your registered address. This would be why they want us to report after a stay away from our normal address.

We drove from Phayao to Chiang Rai on Monday. The smoke haze was worse as we got closer to Chiang Rai.
The other new aspect to the drive was from Phan. It is now 90 kms per hours. Signs are about every 5 kms up and back. Did not see any new cameras except the on south bound trip just north on Mae Chai which was 80 kms .

Hahaha..im alive...ahh its just the dark days back to revisit....nothing like a bad start to a season too keep you quite you know....
Well when I read they handed Goodwin an extension pre season I knew it was a bad omen...gees save it for mid season...
I was in a poor mood last night so switched off with about 5 min to go...shit game anyone else would have beat the Tigers last night..
Trouble down there I thinks....preseason issues at first now there is no 98 unleaded in the tank its been replaced with motor mower blended fuel...and I always had trouble starting the old mans Pope lawn mowers...2 of them...so I bought a victa when I got married....why? the bloke next door vintage victa who I spied with contempt even in the 70's always worked...you should have seen my victa 10 years later...after renovating my house the poor thing was picking up screenings and everything, the housing was like in bits and pieces well missing...but it keet on going...I even traded it in working....so the moral of the story is I will follow the Eagles for the rest off the season with the Saints as my second team....
Rodney Eade came out and said in the paper yesterday that piece was doctored and very well doctored...most of what was said did not come out of his mouth...
I noticed poor Grant was the solo tipster for the Dee's even Oz has abandoned ship, ho that bird Wendy...she too..but hey moderator if she's not picking still by this stage time to kick the wench out....
I think Grant may have forgot to put his tip in. Look at his margin. So most probably no one in our comp tipped the Dees.
I agree with you Alex about Wendy

We live about 5 kms for Tambon Mai Sai. We were lucky. We got strong wind before the rain started and then about 45 minutes of good rain. No hail than goodness

Well the upsets continue with Freo beating GWS.
Gazman will be a happy man
The Sainters are 7 goals up against Melbourne.
Either Chooka or Alex will be happy in about 30 minutes.
I hope the next game is an upset as well. I doubt it though.

"The injured man is 44 year old Australian tourist William Mark Wayne.
Police say that Mr Wayne was drinking at a bar with male and female Thai friends. The suspect name Chanin ‘Tiw’ Innarong parked his car in front of the bar."
From Op and related link
He got off the motorbike and approached a woman at the bar who was sitting with two men, one of whom was Australian, Wayne William Marks, 44.
From Webfact
Great reporting.
It appears that the Thai man who arrived in a car or a MC stabbed 2 different men

Looks like it will be played in terrible weather which doesn't fill me with confidence.
What's the Gauntlet Rip?
As Sceadugena has stated. Once you pick that team you cannot pick it again.

He's not saying he didn't put his tips in.
He's saying he hasn't picked a winner from the first game of the round this season.
He ain't the lone ranger either
I'm not sure if I've picked Friday night winner this year.
Hope I'm right tonight.
I think you will be okay tonight Will. WCE should be easy winners.
Do not forget that the Gauntlet starts this week for those interested.

I was in Phayao yesterday. The "no tips" signs are up but not on the desks where you are interviewed as they were before. Big Joke photo is still up. It is a part of a large glass partition so they will have to have some come and remove it.

Moody
in Chiang Rai
I lived in the north of Australia for over 30 years. Between the dry season and the wet season it was called the build up. This was also called the troppo season because a lot of people would "spit the dummy". That is they would become very "moody". The weather is a huge factor.
Good luck

Well I remember stirring Ron up by telling him that I could get into the underlying code on the AFL Website and change my selections during the match, he was a very honest man and thought I was a bit suspect.
Picking the teams, if you remember last year I was near the bottom the whole way through, I just guess the selections and then I do nto change them once I have put them in.
No secret thing I use and just lucky so far this year!!!!Well done Gazman. Keep it going.

I live on the western side of Lake Phayao. For the past five days there are fires burning in the mountains west of my house. At night time the glows of these fires are very visible. I have lived here for 8 years and have never seen these mountains on fire before now. There have been no storms so lightning cannot be blamed.

OT a little -- Does anybody know why they've started demanding blue ink? I don't care particularly; I'll pick up a pen with blue ink at Big C tomorrow, but I started using "black or blue-black" ink sixty years ago because the Thermofax machines used then could not "see" blue ink. I don't remember for sure, but I think the early Xerox machines also had a problem with that color.
Last year in Phayao they also asked for signatures and forms to be filled in blue ink. They report to Chiang Mai. I asked why and was given the reason that in blue ink it has to be original. No photocopies. I tried to explain that photocopies can be in colour but gave up and used a blue pen. I now complete all forms in blue ink.
