Fair warning to all.   Round 3 commences with Adelaide vs Geelong on THURSDAY 4th April 2019 at 7.50pm Australian Central Daylight Savings Time.   That's 8.20pm Melbourne time, Alex.

I don't wish to see anyone using poor organisational skills and forgetting to enter their tips on time as an excuse for their meager results.   As for my low numbers, well, I blame The Democrats.   For everything.

Oh, and Alex.   Daylight Savings finishes at 2.00am Sunday, 7th April, 2019.   That means turning the small hand on your clock BACK one hour.   Enjoy your bonus beauty sleep , Princess.

Well stated Radar. A great post.

This reply references TM30.  My limited understanding of the regs leads me to believe that this person should submit TM28.   Would doing so enable him to avoid the fine?   I understand that TM30 is the responsibility of the landlord?   Yes?  No?

The OP has lived in Phayao before. He would therefore be returning to his apartment so a new TM30 would be required. Technically the landlord should submit it but in reality the tenant does.

I always submit my TM30 as my land lord under definition is my wife.

Then you are not an Aussie if 13kms is too far .. We use to travel 150 klm just to go on a picnic as most Aussies love to travel. 4 years ago had ice on my windscreen here in chiang rai

    Thanks Keevy.

In Aust it would be okay. Especially in the Top End where I used to live. Here it is too dangerous with the local drivers. Safer to drink at home.

I remember ice on my windscreen in 2012. It was hail

@ripstanley I currently don't have a teaching job lined up, but am thinking about it a few months down the road. For the time  being I got a place to the east of the highway, not far from Ram Hospital. Is there a pub where farang hang out? I've seen a few in trucks and on motorcycles but haven't met anybody yet. I'm in Tokyo now, but will be back in Phayao in May.

I do not drink very much in Phayao. Too far to drive. We are 13 kms out. I have been told that there is a bar down near the lake where a few farang hang out. It is near the old house that is being restored. It is about 100 meters back towards the King statue from the old house.

Be aware that Phayao Immigration are very hot on TM30s. You have to report or be reported within 24 hours of arrival They also want one when you return from travelling within Thailand.

  5. i live near Phayao. We live on the western side of the lake. I have lived here full time since 2011. The coldest it has been in that time was 9 C. That was a few years ago. Over the last few years I have had tracksuit bottoms on but only for a few hours in the morning. This last year has been a lot warmer. I am talking about from December to end of February.  The rest of the year it is very warm.

Which school will you be teaching at? Phayao does not have a large farang population but it is a friendly place.

Guys, Bigwaz was in the tipping for the last couple of years. He is married to my step daughter and Ron asked him if he wanted to join. At the end of the season some players asked who,he was and made comment about people not joining the comp if they did not partake in ThaiVisa by making comments etc. just getting to general mood whether you wanted more numbers or wanted to limit membership, thanks

Bigwaz has been a part of our comp for a number of years. I have no problem with him being involved again.

Ummm. A couple of quickies chaps.

    1. I'm guessing if I don't get my tips in in time, they default to home side, right?

    2. Only the first game allowed me to select by how much. Why?

Sorry in advance if I'm absent from tipping on some weeks. Other crappy things going on.

    Go Tiger!

1 They default to AWAY teams with a maximum of 5.

    2 That is their rule.

3 You can tip now if you like.

Normanski, by now you will probably have realised that it would be helpful if received information from people who do their marriage extensions at the same immigration office where you plan to do yours. Would you care to post what immigration office this is?

In post #7 he says it is Chiang Mai.

heh Rip... what did you think of the changes that are happening there , did you see the outside food shops ? I seen about 20 people with hard hats on in suits walking around the outside looking at different areas..

The outside eating is okay. I think they will return back inside once the renovations have been complete.  One place said to the wife she was not ready as it was before 1100. The place we selected was and had great food.

  10. Was at Central this morning at 1020. Out the front of Tops now has Priority Parking, Taxis and the yellow free shuttle vehicles. There are still a few parking bays for Tops  customers. Had to wait a few minutes for the security guard to move the tape and  a couple of barriers. Great parking spot. The wife went and spoke to security to secure the park.

Went and ate in the new area then shopped in Tops.Returned to our vehicle at 1120 and were not parked in. They still had the barriers in place . Well done Central, this time that is.
