Prawit Tipped As Pita’s Rival For PM
but you don't have any arguments why I would be wrong, or? And that Junta got the most votes in the 2019 election.....So it was an elected government

Thai vaping trend: Rising e-cigarette use among youth sparks health concerns
You might be not grown up to decide yourself and wish the government can replace your parents. But many people don't need that and can decide themself what they do in their life.... I don't smoke, drink very little don't use Marijuana but strongly advocate that people can use it whenever they want without any restrictions (beside when it endangers others like drunk driving)....other drugs as well.

Thailand’s military, police on standby for protests if Pita’s PM bid blocked
the population did not fight back...because they weren't much against it....which also showed as Prayuth won the popular vote years later in the election. Coups are something very common in Thailand...part of the political culture....and not a big drama like it would be in Europe.

Thailand’s military, police on standby for protests if Pita’s PM bid blocked
no I am accusing the old government for not doing their duty and ask for help as Thailand was without legal government.....so actually they old government seized power that was not theirs. That is not the military fault...caused by Suthep....

Outgoing PM calls for peaceful and prompt transition of power
yes...the next constitution is already overdue.....

Move Forward MP offers public apology for alleged assault
I am always irritated by the "I take full responsibility for...." by politicians....who actually neither pay for the damage nor resign nor any other consequence...just empty words. Very common now in the west

PM’s soothing words for frayed nerves as he says he will continue his role up to the next cabinet
I want Prayut going away...but Pita does his best to let Prayut look like a reasonable PM in compare...... That is a sad state of the political landscape....

Prawit Tipped As Pita’s Rival For PM
Well it is similar to every other country in the west.....You can nominate whoever you want and than there is a vote in the parliament.
-
Prawit Tipped As Pita’s Rival For PM
Is Prawit only the best the opposition can find? Pita on one side and Prawit on the other side? Only Abhisit is missing to make the failure complete If that is the political landscape than we are doomed and wish for the return of Thaksin.....at least he wasn't stupid

Prawit Tipped As Pita’s Rival For PM
the parlament is who give him a mandate or not...so you don't know that yet. And since when is old fat dim witted a reason for not being top politician? I thought that is a requirement

Move Forward MP offers public apology for alleged assault
yes empty words are cheap....he should resign...in any civilized country people would demand a woman beater to resign as politician.

Pita Confident More Senators Are Now Backing Him For PM

Prawit Tipped As Pita’s Rival For PM
Marijuana keeps legal and many people out of jail. Arms will less flow to Myanmar, as CIA does over Thailand.....The Generals get arms from China and Russia not from Thailand. China and Russia...major trading partners will be happy and so thousands of SME companies trading with them, tourism and millions of people depending on it. So that all sounds mostly good for me....I take the disadvantage of bad beer in exchange.

Prawit Tipped As Pita’s Rival For PM
doesn't matter, you need >250 MPs to govern......no government can survice without majority....

Thailand’s military, police on standby for protests if Pita’s PM bid blocked
Defined by himself

Thailand’s military, police on standby for protests if Pita’s PM bid blocked
yes because Suthep made troubles with the elections....but they why doesn't matter. When the government is expired, means there is no government, the old government has to "inform" the king about the power vacuum. Don't know all his options, but the most common would be to install a government of bureaucrats which prepares for new elections. And if someone think that is not democratic, something like 3 years ago we had such a government in Austria, installed by the president. No one complained about it. There can be different opinions on what to do, but one thing is for sure you can't continue to govern, because a) there is an expiration date, if it wouldn't matter than there would be no expiration date and b) think thru what that means, it would open the door for any dictator, every government that may loose can sabotage the elections and remain in power for infinity.

Pheu Thai’s leverage may be getting stronger
I have the feeling that some of the yellow supporters of Prayut also wake up and realize that Sondhi was right all the way and Prayut is not the saver they have hoped for....so that guy is out. Shinawatras have some respect....the first term of Thaksin was good and everyone agrees that he is smart....just using his brain for the wrong things. (no one thinks that from Pita...the smart thing). So I can imagine they make a deal with Thaksin....I always opposed Thaksin, but when I hear Pita than I see that he is the lesser evil

Outgoing PM calls for peaceful and prompt transition of power
I think it will be different at the PM votes someone will nominate alternative candidates and the senate will vote for the alternative candidates....and if they are smart (which is not sure) they'll use agreeable candidates so some of the smaller parties will also vote for them....Getting nowhere. Than getting some compromise. If they take a PTP candidate and some vote for them, some senate the greed will take over and PTP will try to seize the opportunity.
-
Outgoing PM calls for peaceful and prompt transition of power
I am not sure but it should be enough either MFP or PTP + minor parties+Democrats+BJ to have >250 seats but without the military parties Of course than they need the Senate to get started

antibiotics ear/eye
Had a strong pain in the ear....most probably infection. Looked up some ear drops with antibiotics....pharmacy had nothing....I asked what they had. The pharmacist put into the computer and spoke english infection-bacterial-ear-outer And gave me a product called Cravit 0.5% Levofloxacin. Worked perfectly I thought just in case we get flooded again (water comes up the toilets/Sewer) I better have something like that on stock. And when I looked I saw the words "Ophthalmic Solution"....Ophtsomething is eye not ear. Did they give me something complete wrong, or maybe it doesn't matter...antibiotics solution can be used universal? Because if it matters I want to stock some ear drops as well

Alternative to coffee
I read that coffee may elevate Cholesterol, so I cut it for the moment. I usually drink like 5-6 strong Espresso in the morning and a few during the day. I replaced that with Earl Grey tea. While I like the taste, it doesn't wake me up. The coffee didn't wake me up proper. But the tea does nothing. I wonder already if tea contains any caffeine....(or do I make them wrong? 1 tea bag for 0.25 Liter hot water, approx. 1-2 min) Questions: a) Maybe my body get used to less caffeine in a few days??? b) Any alternative? Red Bull is far too sweet for me, zero sugar Red Bull is not available. 0.75 Liter tea does nothing. Any other ideas?
