Bloody foreigners taking Thai jobs again. 😡
This has been going on for years Russians even had private disco rooms in some Hotels for their own use they hired whole floors of small Hotels, I used to stay in one years ago and were told by the desk not to go to that floor, I had a peek one afternoon no one was around and they had a nice band room set up, this was about 20 years ago.
Walk around Nana and see the African girls in bright colours standing along the street, the BMWS can't detect them

"In a shocking revelation, the Medical Council of Thailand declared that Thaksin Shinawatra, the de facto Pheu Thai leader, is not suffering from the critically ill conditions previously reported."
Shoking revelation? Not on the AseanNow forum. One of the few articles where noone is doubting his fake illness. Just another day in Thailand.
He's not suffering now because they cured him, it was the neck brace that fixed him

The special Senate committee reviewing the controversial casino-entertainment complex bill in Thailand is contemplating inviting Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra to discuss the bill's intentions next week. Led by Senator Veerapun Suvannamai, the committee plans its second session today, following the initial meeting on April 23. Despite prior rumours, Dr Veerapun clarified that the Prime Minister was not expected at today's meeting.
Confusion ensued regarding the meeting's agenda, with Dr Veerapun expressing surprise over leaked details, noting the agenda's finalisation is pending. The notion of inviting an "outsider," potentially including the Prime Minister or pertinent ministers, is reserved for the upcoming meeting on May 15, aiming to garner more comprehensive insights into the proposed casino-entertainment initiative.
Today's session primarily aims to establish a study framework and form sub-committees, with project evaluation expected to take 180 days. Sources assert the creation of at least two sub-committees focusing on the economic and social impacts of the project.
The government has deferred the casino-entertainment complex bill to the next parliamentary session, beginning 2nd July. Originally destined for discussion in the House of Representatives on 9th April, the bill faced opposition on its fast-tracked process. Critics have forewarned that persistently advocating the bill might breach ethical boundaries.
Tourism industry leaders have voiced concerns that legalising casinos and online gambling might deter Chinese tourists—a vital market for Thailand. These concerns were raised during a recent censure debate targeting the Thai Prime Minister.
The opposition People's Party has argued that gambling legalisation was never promised by the ruling Pheu Thai Party during election campaigns. They warn that such moves might jeopardise Thailand's tourism sector by dissuading Chinese visitors, given potential disapproval from the Chinese government towards gambling legalisation.
The unfolding debate reflects broader anxieties over Thailand's tourism reliance and ethical governance, as the government navigates these sensitive waters with economic and social stakes at hand.

Chinese will flock to the casinos just as they did in NZ, and Thais as well Europeans stay away from casinos in NZ because they're overrun by the Chinese and other Asian people who seem to have a easy developed addiction to gamble
It's going to be a disaster for Thailand, Thai people will suffer.

Nobody mentions that most meth comes in from China and is distributed through gangs, that's how it works in NZ bike gangs teem with the Chinese mafia and disribute meth, Russian's and police and freelance at work in Thailand but the source is China, never going to stop this, they can't control it in NZ

Might? I'd bet my left nut "will" will be the case. No mights about it. The "fake illness" was all part of the deal and the deal makers (the military, elite, establishment) own the courts.
Never going to happen, the poor man had to suffer the heat from wearing a neck brace and he stood upwell to his special medical treatments from the best doctors, good on him.

I wonder what they fight about , girls, drugs or just plain drunken idiots wanting to fight I prefer the latter.
And the poster is right, never used to see this, many forms of drugs around now , meth , cocaine and the illustrious dope shops selling unchecked medical weed, that god knows the THC content off.
Maybe they could isolate a designated area for these animals , call it Dope street and have boxing rings instead of pole dancers.

I was married for three years while on a B-Visa and working. Changing over was a piece of cake other than the female IO was just a hostile charmer. If she was your g/f for that long, you had all the chances in the world to marry - and yet you didn't. I think immigration looks at that and thinks the same thing as the three week marriage comes off as a possible scam. "Live together for 15 years" but don't marry??? Then suddenly marry and apply for an extension based on marriage three weeks later??? 🤔
That's just poor planning. Why did you wait 15 years to get married. Is your marriage "real" or did you marry her just to obtain a visa. I'd even ask that question. Personally I don't understand long-term relationships with no marriage - it shows a lack of commitment. Ah? So I can see the IO's point. Even in my book, if you stay together for 15 years but decide to get married and then immediately apply for a marriage extension - well - it looks fishy OP. I even think it looks fishy. My guess is you're rightfully going to be under a microscope for awhile.
My guess is you're going to be border hopping for awhile to come back and "visit" your wife until Immigration are convicted that you actually are committed to the marriage. If you could show them proof of staying together photos references from friends and get a few more extensions then reapply maybe be OK

I'm on a 60 day visa exempt, already have the 30 day extension- starts neek week. No, it had nothing to do with the documents. She said they were all in order. Her entire issue was that we have only been married for 3 weeks.
Her mention of approval (visa approval) if we had a child together was a totally random statement by her. Quite strange. No normal if you have a child to your wife or gf with proof you can apply for a non o my friend has children with Thai gf and has no problems, I used to get non o from having a Thai son b4 I was married

In every case theirs a winner & loser.
The winner - his wife........she gets off scot-free & keeps whatever Shes gained.
The loser - Stigs Partner....... he's been conned & lost his assets.
That just leaves Stig. He probably succumbed to his wife's patter and did what was asked. Hès not the first & won't be the last to get set-up by his wife. (my opinion only).
I wonder if the wife's got rid of the loot already

They look like blanks, maybe he collects them and use them as decorations, they don't look like they are live, he should have enquired if he could keep them this story does not mention this probability

Hello everyone. MyNon O marriage visa application was rejected at CW because we "haven't been married long enough". Has anyone ever experienced this before? The IO said we must be married for "two or three months before applying for a marriage visa". She also mentioned: "If you had a child I could approve".
Also, just wondering if anyone has been denied a visa (marriage or otherwise) and made a new appointment to get a new IO? Was it successful? Many thanks.
If you came in on a 60 day then get one month extension you should be OK

On the very day Thailand launched its new Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) system for foreign visitors, a fake website has surfaced, aiming to deceive travellers. This fraudulent site poses as an official third-party service, charging users a US$10 processing fee, whereas the legitimate TDAC service is free.
The TDAC system, which officially commenced on May 1st, replaces the traditional paper TM6 arrival cards. This digital transition is mandatory for all foreign nationals entering Thailand, whether by air, sea, or land. Travellers complete their details via the official TDAC website and receive an email confirmation to present upon arrival.
Amidst the transition, the Immigration Bureau addressed confusion regarding application deadlines, clarifying that forms can be submitted up to three days prior to arrival, but not earlier. Contrary to some reports, applications do not require submission at least three days in advance.
Assuring a seamless implementation, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports announced that the system is prepared with backup measures. In case of complications, travellers can temporarily revert to paper immigration forms. Additionally, computer terminals are ready at Suvarnabhumi Airport for those who need to fill out the TDAC upon arrival.
While the real TDAC aims to streamline the arrival process, travellers are urged to verify the official website to avoid scams like the emerging fake site. Authorities remain vigilant in safeguarding visitors against such fraudulent activities as the system continues to roll out.

Thai Police Arrest Three Foreign Nationals in Major Drug Bust

What is happening in Thailand now has happened in NZ for a few years now, the Chinese were invited to come to NZ.
The British Hong Kong police said the mafia would not come to NZ.
Well what a load of krup that was, the Mafia moved in big time and are responsible for infiltrating big bike gangs and selling Meth, the number one problem in NZ.
And now the Thai news reports nearly everyday of chinese assaults on people and drug busts are becoming a daily event, never saw this amount of crime in Thailand from Chinese tourists who were virtually on guided tours a few years ago, may Buddha help Thailand
