I have switched to Bangkok Smile Dental Clinic for years and been happy ever since. Its still a bit more expensive than Thailand standard but cheaper than that you went to. I dont really mind paying a bit more for reliable and hygienic service if its not too much. Dr. Sunisa is the one who takes care of my teeth and she is one of the best.

Chulalongkorn University Hospital is cheap and has many great doctors. Go there after around 4 pm and get to the special clinic to avoid the 2 month queue. You need to pay a bit extra for special clinic but still much cheaper than those private hospitals.

Im sorry to hear that. What did the doctor who gave you that work say about it? There is a great TMJ specialist in BNH hospital,dam_n i dont remember her name. She is one of the best hand who can handle problems regarding occlusion in Thailand. Check those doctors photo in front of the BNH dental clinic. She is the one with American Board in TMJ.

as far as i know there are 3 kinds of gold alloy used in crown , low quality, medium and high quality ( 80 % gold something). The more gold, the less corrosion of the crown. That means your crown will fit longer. They put porcelain on top of the gold to make it look natural. Not all Thais can afford high quality crown,thats why they have more options. I always go for the highest quality.

I dont know how much it costs but I always visit BNH hospital on Convent Road for my medical emergency.

It's certainly terrifying that terrorists are working out a hub such as Thailand but not really surprising. WinneTheKwai, this is only one major bust, how many do you think the military and the police has passed by without noticing or noticed but not really done anything about it? If they don't care about the foreigners that live and work in Thailand that's fine because that's the way it works over here but what about their own people who certainly would be involved when a bomb goes off? I wouldn't go far as saying that the Thai military track record is impressing, it´s quite the opposite and because of this lack of national security in this country, the terrorists get more and more time to plan and execute their missions and more innocent people get killed as a result.
