  1. I canceled True years ago. Had Netflix for 6 months or so and cancelled it as well.  For me Netflix lacks current content.

So I bought 2 ATV boxes. A Nvidia Shield for the lounge and a SkyStream for the BR.

The Nvidia is probably the best ATV, the SkyStream works well but is not Google certified. It will run Netflix in HD but not 4K.

The Shield is certified and will run anything.

Like some stated, an ATV [Android TV Box] can be confusing.

These smart developers created apps that do it all for you.

I use Cyberflix. It'a free and has all the TV and movie content you will ever need. Has a TV guide as well but no sports.

For Sports you can use Mobodro. It has every channel.

You can download Cyberflix for Android, Windows MAC and IOS

If you get hooked on Cyberflix as I did, you can pay a one time $25. fee for the VIP version which takes you off their public server and on a private server limited to 200 users.

This insures you get the best possible connection. I get little to no buffering, then again I am using the best ATV boxes that happen to be a bit pricey.

I understand that Mecool  has a Google certified box that does a great job as well for under $100.

Your wife needs to be at home and seen to be living with you otherwise there’s a high chance your extension will be denied.

Find "it" ?? do you mean your wife ? she should be present or they may think the whole thing is a sham. (not real marriage)

What if your wife works? Is she expected to take the day off? Is Immigration going to make an appointment or just show up?

One of the guys that put me on to roojai said he had to use the app as part of his pre-approval sign up. I did everything online as I had the VIN, pre-existing insurance and NCB details at hand. Never had to use the app. After online application, they called asking for more info which I had already submitted online and told them as much. They apologized and said they'd check then they called back about 45 minutes later, apologizing for the previous call and confirming my coverage was in place; just about the same time as their email confirmation arrived. All very slick IMHO.

Also noted that the residual (replacement) value for my 4 year-old sports lorry was also 85k baht higher than the previous insurance (AXA) and two other companies.

Thanks for the update.. What is the NCB and where would I find it?

Their quote for our car was less than half what we pay I think next time we will use them, Im looking to see if we could get a refund from the present company as none of the body shops around here will deal with them bad at paying and I was told they tell the garages to use copy parts

The garages won't deal with who? Your current company or Roojai?

We went with Roojai  in July this year on a 1 year old Civic Turbo, premium was 3,000 thai baht cheaper than any other quote.

In August a Truck ran into the back of us in Loei, claims guy came out next day and authorized repairs at main Honda dealer

Service was great can highly recommend

Did they send someone to the accident scene?

In my second year with them, they are actually brokers. Never had a claim in the time I have been with them so can't comment on that aspect.

I did save a good amount though from previous company when I switched.

I'm wondering which company they placed your insurance with..

Yup, they're great, my premium went down by around 40%, & I got a 1k baht discount card, which didn't have any daft T&C's.

That's awesome.... Thanks guys.. I appreciate the input

  8. I used the Roojai online App to get a quote for my Toyota Vigo.

Seems their quote is 50% less than I am currently paying for the same

    coverage.

I am wondering if anyone has direct experience with Roojai.

I did read some Social Media posts that said some dealers and repair

shops won't accept them for direct payments due to slow payments.

    Any info would be appreciated...

Thanks KhunBENQ for your concrete answer.

I checked and I have a warranty till 20 march 2020, however I stupidly lost the invoice from Lazada ( If there was one ).

But if it still work after the battery is 0, I am happy enough with this.

    Thanks again.

Log into your Lazada account. Click on account name and Go to "My Orders" There you can display and print a copy of your order.

Where did you hear/read about the September cutoff of transfers thru BBK NYC?

Btw, why not just make a one-time deposit 800K into your Thai savings account? You would then not have to worry about the monthly transfers. If you do not have 800K available in your savings/portfolio, then perhaps Thailand is not the place to retire.

Not everyone has the ability to deposit 800k in a Thai bank tho they may have the combined income of 65000k/mo
