  1. What is telling is that the Kenyan president made no bones as to the fact that the terrorists were 'deeply embedded' within Kenya's Muslim community. Sounds familiar? Well it should, wherever Islam spreads parallel societies form which don't try to integrate. When they are of sufficient numbers the demands, threats and violence quickly follow.

P.s the 'mastermind' behind the attack is called Mohammad Mohammud, I don't suppose he was following the example of the perfect man by any chance.

  2. Hmh! An Islamic terror group which seems to have no interest in Israel????
You wouldn't be trying to float the logical fallacy that ISIS were therefore created by Israel would you?
Not yet. I have actually been sitting on that simple sentence for a couple of months wondering when it would come ;up.
I see. A yes or no would have sufficed, but a repeated subliminal suggestion is evidently more amusing.

The matter is certainly not crystal clear. I suspect there may be several countries lending support. I am curious mostly about the Israeli medical units operating in the Golan Heights. When questioned, they simply state that they care for any wounded person regardless of affiliation. I found that to be a very "not Israeli" response and leaves me wondering whether or not they are caring for ISIS. The conclusions are always about Al Queda, not ISIS. Why for example, would Israel operate a field hospital in the Golan Heights to care for foreign troops.

An under-noticed news report last week confirmed previously-held suspicions and strong implications that Israeli troops are aiding the Nusra Front, al-Qaeda's official Syrian affiliate.
Speaking to Israeli occupation troops last week, a Wall Street Journal reporter on the ground in Mount Bental (part of the occupied Golan Heights) found that Israeli troops receive wounded al-Qaeda fighters, treat them in Israeli hospitals and send them back to continue fighting against the government in Syria.

What these reports (or should I say whispering campaigns) fail to point out it that Israeli medics have treated women and children as well as men. Perhaps they are patching them up so they can become suicide bombers under the control of Mossad, or perhaps rather it's the usual Israel haters proving once again that they can stoop lower than ever before.

  3. Khamanei never recognized a two stage schedule for negotiations from the start. Obama insisted on one for talks which had already been postponed on three separate occasions. Obama has folded as per usual, something for which he can always be relied on.

P.s note the inversion of reality from the White House in claiming sanctions would force Israel to use military action when in effect negotiating a bad deal would. To keep folding to Iran guarantees a bad deal, if a deal can't be had then letting Iran run the clock puts the world in greater danger.

  4. Goodluck Johnathan had an uphill battle against the overt interference from the U.S government who took an age to even designate Boko Haram as a terrorist organization, refused to supply arms to the Nigerian military to fight them and to add insult to injury sent the same campaigner to try and oust him who failed to do so with Netanyahu. The current U.S government is batting for the Jihaddists, no question of it any more, the why is the only question.

  5. In essence all that has happened here is that the U.S have thrown the Saudis a bone in the hope they don't notice the abject capitulation to Iran on the question of their nuclear weapons program. It should be remembered that Iran has meddled and destabilized the entire region as best it can, had the U.S take a zero tolerance approach to Iranian expansion then no military intervention in Yemen would have been necessary in the first place.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you not a member of the group on TV that calls for US/NATO withdrawal from M.E. balance of power politics and military interventions. I assume this also means no support for proxy wars.

I'm not against intervention per se, but only against any intervention which favors religious fanatics over secular albeit repressive regimes. The biggest concern is religious fanatics with nuclear weapons, which may even come about if the Pakistani regime implodes. Hence I was against the removal of Gadaffi and Mubarak, but would favour blowing the Iranian nuclear sites to kingdom come as soon as possible.

  6. Yemen is unravelling quickly. Obama made his usual empty platitudes regarding supporting Saudi security, whilst a. Sunni Shia religious war breaks out. All this against the backdrop of Obama and Kerry desperate to sign any old deal with Iran despite the absolute horror shown by Israel, France and Saudi Arabia.
