If it a modern AC then probably it's not just a bulb which has to be replaced. LEDs fail very seldom.

And if there are proper vinting pipes then there is no problem with stink.

It seems the heaters which are designated as shower heaters are supposed to have a constant temperature. I use the heater which I mentioned above for my kitchen sink and my bathroom bathtub and shower. In the kitchen I have an ordinary mixer of hot and cold water. If I put it to max hot the water is very hot - just about possible to touch but I wouldn't leave my hand under the flowing hot water. In the bathroom I use a faucet with a thermostat. At least the one I use, from TOTO, works perfect.

I am not a plumber so the following is only my personal experience. I prepared the drain from my bathroom sink, I think it is a 1" pipe. I thought first I look if it fits, and I put the pipe inside another pipe in the wall without seal. My plan was to test it first and then seal it later. I made sure there is a slope. Then I opened the water and the water flowed freely through the drain without any water coming out. I kept it like that without any seal and it works fine - since months.

Many of us are in Thailand because it is different from "home", which is mostly somewhere in "the west". Yes, Thailand is different, in many ways. What should change: Thailand should be just like the west - then why would you come? Thailand should be Thailand in some ways, but like the west in ways I want it to be. - Really Thailand is Thailand. Accept it. Obviously, I also noticed problems with opening times and lots of other things which are not perfect. Do I want to wait until they "improve" their lazy behavior? Thanks Unfortunately, I think the high prices in many places are what they need. Obviously, most of us like to pay less, but often those businesses pay huge amounts of rent and other payments, so they need the income from the drinks. There was a time when bar owners made lots of money with some bars. It seems those times are mostly over. In general, I think fewer places are successful, and they still make less money than years ago.

Because if he did those things to solve above problem and now he suggests another thing, then that sounds more like: Just do everything part by part new, and then sell him a new AC.

I can recommend this one: DDC 8 EC (STE) Compact instantaneous water heater of STIEBEL ELTRON (stiebel-eltron.co.th) I use it and it works fine. It has only one water output. I bought an adapter to divide it to my kitchen and bathroom.

A possible issue is that there is no slope in that pipe. If the water flows in the right direction freely then there doesn't have to be a leak.

What does that mean? If somebody makes lots of confusing statements and I would add lots of confused reactions, will action be taken against me because I reacted like that? I think some people who count reactions and feel that this is not the reaction which they want should stop posting. Or write somewhere on the internet where there are no reactions. Otherwise just accept it or ignore it. It's not important.

Ok, I understand the principle. How about an answer like: best case 20min, likely 40min, but it can be much longer. This "answer" is of course not the answer. I don't know, this is why I ask.

I have such a smart lock at my entrance door. It runs on batteries. I have an app which tells me the battery status and more. The app on my lock is read only. I see what is happening, but I can't use the app to open the door. This is what I want. The lock also has a mechanical key, hidden, and it seems sophisticated, to be able to open the lock mechanically. I really like this lock and the convenience to just grab the handle, the door recognized my fingerprint, and opens. All in a fraction of a second. I have also the option of using a pin code or key-card. I like it. Sorry, I have no idea about the PVC door. I have a wooden door. My smart lock is big and heavy.

What is the usual time to proceed through the airport now? If I want to pick up someone who arrives on an international flight at 6am, when will they likely have their passports checked, luggage received, walking out to the public area? I like to know for my timing to arrive at the airport in time. Thanks

In the last years I accepted that I did my shopping at 7am and then stayed at home dry. For 3 days that was manageable. But now this is supposed to go on for two weeks or even longer? Who wants to get wet on the streets for weeks? It's just a stupid idea.
