How about those things? Did real people drive something like that in the USA?

Did you know that that car had less than 200HP. Looks like a '79, I bought a '76 400, it had even less, a far cry from the early stock '70's Trans, with well over 300HP....😢
It took me a while to get my now 413 to lay some rubber and get into the 11's....😋
At that time my BMW 323i had 145HP or something in that 140 region. It was a lot of fun.
I think the world is going crazy with all those absurd HP numbers. Who needs that? Who can handle it? As far as I see for 90% of drivers 100HP max is more than enough.

I know many people wake up early up country. And as far as I know the first thing they do is prepare food and eat it. At least that is what happens in the home of my gf up country.

Any advice on how to approach this situation would be greatly appreciated.
He discovered "love".
Or to be more precise he feels loved by some girl who is nice to him. And likely nobody was nice like that to him for a long time.
If you want him back, then make sure he feels loved and appreciated by his family. Smile at him, ask him if you can bring him a beer and maybe some BBQ ribs.

I didn't think about that one. But yes, that is a possibility.

If my wife and I are out and about and she mentions being hungry, I promptly find the nearest eating establishment to ensure the condition doesn't escalate.
Good
And is she happy with the nearest option?
Or do you hear then something like: I want to eat yam-poo (or something else which is not easy to find)?
Some food, any food, is often not good enough for my gf in such a situation.

When I was younger, and living in Europe, I had a BMW.
I had watched the movie Smokey and the Bandit, and I would have loved to have that Trans Am or something like that.
Then I met an American soldier who had a Trans Am in America. He really wanted a BMW like my one.
We both agreed we would like to swap our cars right away if we could.
That was maybe 35 years ago, and it was an "I want that" situation. We never thought about really trying to ship our cars to another continent.

Obviously, we all can get hungry and if we get very hungry, we are not in the best mood - I would call this normal.
But it seems some people, including my gf recently, have an extreme version of this condition.
When she wakes up in the morning, she is usually hungry - more of less independent on when she had something to eat the previous day.
If she eats something maybe within the first 30 min after waking up, then it's ok.
If she doesn't eat something maybe within an hour, she will be most likely in a bad mood, and whatever I say won't improve her mood.
When she finally eats something, then she is a nice person again.
She was a little bit like this since years. But recently she seems to be in a real bad mood real soon.
And I don't think it's the weather. She sleeps (with me) in an AC room which is not hot.
There is also always something to eat at home. Maybe not exactly what she wants in that moment, but enough not to be hungry anymore.
I ask this here because somehow it would be strange to tell her to see a doctor about that condition.
Please only serious answers.
She is under no stress, she/we don't any problems, it seems it is really about her being in a bad mood because of no food right now.
I spoke with other guys who confirm that they have similar experience with their Thai wife/gf.
How about you? Do you know this condition? Is it maybe a real medical condition like lack of some vitamin or whatever?

Anybody who rides a motorcycle, anywhere in this world, knows that we can die any day we ride.
But most of us don't die because we avoid taking (high) risks.
We obviously can't avoid that some idiot crashes into us etc.
Riding with a bike straight into the back of a parking car can only happen if the rider doesn't pay attention. It is clearly his own fault.
Good that he didn't kill or injure anybody else with his reckless behavior.

Anyone who gets on a motorbike in Thailand has a mental illness.
And how about people who spend hours every day in cars and busses and trains instead to maybe 20% of that time on bikes?
How do you call those people who waste 10% of their life waiting in traffic?

O negative is a very rare blood group globally, I should imaging that most countries are in short supply, some more than others.
Since type O blood is that which can be used for anyone, it is almost always in short supply at hospitals. If you have it, you should think of donating. About 42% of the global population has type O+ blood but just 3% have type O-.
https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/what-are-the-different-blood-types.html
But there are still some countries out there with a lot of 0- blood people.
I edited the above picture to shows the 0- column first, the data is from here:

The Thai Red Cross have been contacted and have stated they have no O negative in stock.
Just a general question: Can't the hospital import the required blood from somewhere else? There should be enough countries in this world with enough of that blood. Or not?

Even if they do the collection themselves, hospitals are bound by TRC regulations. Upper limit is age 70 for repeat donors, 55 for first time donors..
Are there any other conditions? I.e. people with diabetes, people who take regular medications, etc.?

I wouldn’t vote for a Democrat at this point, mainly because they aren’t real Democrats any more. They lost the plot somewhere along the way. At this point, they’ve simply scary. Authoritarian war mongers, and that’s to put it politely. And so I would vote for Trump, simply to oppose the Democrats.
What’s wrong with RFK Jr? He makes more sense than either Biden or Trump. The day he announced his candidacy, I donated money. If he wins, great. If he takes votes away from Biden, great. Either way, it’s a win.
And how about the GOP? Are they still the conservatives with conservative values? Or are 90% of them Trump fanboys and/or scared of losing their jobs.

I think the main issue is which politician from the DEMs would anybody in the MAGA crowd vote for?
And that is a serious problem. I have no insider knowledge from those MAGAs but I find it hard to believe that they would vote for any DEM.
So, yes, Biden is not good, but who would convince any of those 70,000,000 Trumpers to vote DEMs?
I know the numbers look bad. But I would love to see a third-party candidate win. Then maybe, maybe the two parties would start to realize that it's time for them to listen to the people and not only to their rich donors - or should I call them investors?

Was this always like that in the hot season?
Maybe it's good enough to clean everything to make sure there is no dirt to block the clearance.
If the heat is the problem, then you should be able to close those doors at night when it's not so hot. Can you?

And how do you know Russia will stop at that?
After regrouping and resupplying itself, what's to stop them from taking the rest of Ukraine?
Then they will be right at Moldovas border, where they already keep soldiers against Moldovas will. What's to keep them from taking Moldova next?
Then, emboldened by the West's weakness and defeatism, what's to stop them from taking more territory? Georgia?
Then perhaps the Baltic states or Romania? Poland...?
I don't know if Russia will stop.
There is no satisfying realistic solution to this bad situation.
I don't follow all the details, but it seems the front lines are more or less stable or Russia won a little over the last year or so.
So, what are the options?
Give more money to Ukraine and let more of their soldiers die to keep the existing lines?
Even more money and more dead to win back some territory?
Even more money and troupes from other countries to win back Crimea?
It seems sometimes we have to accept that there is no good solution. And continuing with one of the bad "solutions" has only the "look, we do something" effect.
End the war. Try to make the best out of a bad situation. It's not easy, nobody will like it, but what's the alternative?
The west can still stockpile more weapons and have more weapons to protect the borders of the existing NATO countries. That might help for the future to make sure the situation is not getting worse.

But does it really help Ukraine to be stuck in a war which they can't win.
It's time to accept reality. Russia won't give all that land back to Ukraine. Accept it. Life goes on.
Or will the situation be any better if more and more Ukrainian men die at the frontlines without any change?

Well I have very good door and they are isolating the music quite well, but the neighbour is from the next room and he is complaining that he hears it through the wall.
I have just regular Samsung soundbar with 360W. But my question is can I have some problems if I listen the music too loud during the day?
I heard about complaints in "my" building. Some building have unfortunately thin walls or not 100% closed walls near the ceiling.
I think best is you try to compromise with your neighbor. Maybe he regularly sleeps at a certain time or something like that.
As far as I know there is no fixed rule that x db sound pressure level is too much. And base noise penetrates walls a lot more than high frequencies.
Maybe it's not easy to compromise with the neighbor, but constant fighting is also not a good situation. It seems that makes the lives of too many people miserable.
Good luck.

Bad mood because of no food - is that a medical condition?

Do you have some samples for "something high in protein and containing some fat but no processed carbs"?
I read those words before, but I don't know what kind of food contains what - and I don't really want to learn the details.
