  1. Bumjaithai won't join a coalition with MFP. They're too ignorant to differentiate between some harmless and widely supported amendments to 112, and an all out toppling of the government.
  2. As usual, no real evidence of a meeting and certainly no evidence of what might have transpired had there been one. On the stock exchanges, this would be dealt with under the heading "Share price manipulation". File under garbage. Until somebody can come up with a definitive record of the meeting, then it's just idle chat. Scoop hunting.
  3. Is this about Waksin Shinawat? Forget Bill Gates! Pheu Kray?
  4. Any overspill, they'd be welcome in amongst the Koh Chang archipelago. Smaller islands, tiny police force, no immigration office except on the mainland.. Quick exit to ex Russian colony, Cambodia. What's not to like?
  5. How many Thais have a mortgage? (I have no idea). I know several who have borrowed from the bank and defaulted. They just pack their bags and move on.
  6. I also can't quite figure out how a convicted felon like Tony can be associated in any way with the 2nd biggest party. Surely there are electoral laws? Does he donate? He definitely advises. Look what they did to Thanatorn and Future Forward. Totally destroyed them. But, Thanathorn is back, and very good luck to him. Good guy in my book.
  7. It's not fit for purpose. In practice it doesn't work. It's supposed to be non partisan. So how is it many Senators an come out with statements like "I won't vote for any candidate associated with MFP"? They should be admonished by the Senate president. Any repeat offense and they're kicked out. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senate_of_Thailand
  8. Ask him now. This delay could cost billions. And has made Thailand a laughing stock.
  9. Has anybody put it to him that he is entirely responsible for the situation, with his creation of the generally loathed Senate? What's he got to say now? It's all backfired, and he's the one to hold accountable. Fess up, Prayuth, you really screwed up. It's really made a mess of any new parliament, based on the vote. Or any other, come to that. What a disaster.
  10. Blame the Senators for the political impasse. They're solely responsible.
  11. Google Lens. Use it all the time. When you view a photo in Google photos, it's down the bottom between "edit" and "delete".
  12. That wasn't you in my front garden the other day was it?
  13. This isn't news, it's just repeating what we all know. More rubbish. Super deal my axxx.
  14. I don't follow your argument. Which case do you refer to?
  15. And what of the wannabe Pheu Thai PMs statement while on the campaign trail? " In mid-April in Loei province, he gave a speach [sic] where he said that Pheu Thai would not form a coalition with Palang Pracharath and United Thai Nation due to their involvement in the 2014 coup.[6]"
  16. All speculation as per usual. No meeting took place. It's all just hysterical fans screaming. Call this journalism? A 5 year old could write this stuff. Probably AI. The press is fighting for headline space and clicks. They'll make anything up.
  17. If he knew he was unqualified he'd be looking at very hefty jail time. All the same, it absolutely beggars belief he's walked into exactly the same trap as his predecessor, Thanathorn. We'll see soon enough. At least MFP won't be barred as none of the charges against him involve his relationship with MFP. You never know, this time next week.........? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thanathorn_Juangroongruangkit
  18. Lest we forget. This is Srettha Thavisin speaking, PT's number one candidate for PM. Would you buy a second hand car from this man? Stop making out you're a cut above MFP because you don't support 112 amendments. You sold your granny yet? "In mid-April in Loei province, he gave a speach [sic] where he said that Pheu Thai would not form a coalition with Palang Pracharath and United Thai Nation due to their involvement in the 2014 coup.[6]" https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Srettha_Thavisin
  19. What happened to the NACC being ordered to supply details of their ruling on Prawit's watches? They were given 15 days from June 16th. https://www.thaipbsworld.com/nacc-ordered-to-disclose-findings-regarding-general-prawits-luxurious-wristwatches/
  20. I can find no such statement from Prasert on Google in any media. Please supply links to sources. Your reporting is dreadful.
  21. Any candidate supported my MFP will fail in the Senate. They've more or less said as much. It's total bias and bigotry. It actually goes against their remit. Hopefully the case against them will win. They're not supposed to hold any political allegiance. I see another CC case looming.
  22. 1 maybe there is method in what appears to be their madness. 2 yes, you may have a point 3 that's their policy. You're just being wise after the event. Who has a policy for the whole of Thailand? Even PT's ridiculous 10,000 THB handout for everybody didn't win. 4 the share case will be decided on shortly. And look who brought it! 5 how could he know in advance his exact support in parliament? 6 ? 7 you have to start somewhere. Look where he got to without much experience. He's 42. Sure, looks like opposition is the best option, and hopefully PT will crash and burn trying to form a government. Som nam na. But it's not over yet.
  23. I don't believe a word of this article, full stop. Prasert is not a spokesman for the coalition, and Pheu Thai are a minor partner in it. EU? Where did that come from? Thai newsroom my axxx.
