  1. I've asked you for links in the past to your claims, but none were forthcoming. So, links to his radical anti Myanmar policies, links to his radical anti Cambodia policies, and links to his anti China policies please. In the meantime, here's a sample of their manifesto: https://thainews.prd.go.th/en/news/detail/TCATG230518114550495 And just for good measure, here's a Pheu Thai manifesto from December 2022: https://www.thaienquirer.com/46486/pheu-thai-up-political-game-after-its-policy-manifesto-announcement-politics-set-to-heat-up/
  2. So, given all politicians were new at some point, all are frauds? Could be.
  3. A bit of research? Any links? And the devil you know... Who would that be, exactly?
  4. Of course he, like most of the rest of the National Assembly, ie the Reps and the Sens, has got the wrong idea about amending 112. First off, they are amendments, not a complete elimination. And second, they would never get through parliament in any case. So they are void right from the start. They object to him on principle for even DARING to suggest amendments to their wretched law. Just close ranks. I only have a graphic in Thai explaining the amendments. I can't find any other reference. You can use Google Lens to translate.
  5. Here's a little refresher about how Thailand got to this point. Shocking. Same actors. Some are quietly making their shameful exit. Some will be around for years to come no doubt. Something has to change. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Thai_general_election And if you're wondering about the 2017 constitution and how it ever got passed... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution_of_Thailand
  6. No they can't. No senator can serve consecutive terms. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senate_of_Thailand
  7. This is just a link to a list of senators. No endorsement is intended for or against. For information only. FYI. https://www.senate.go.th/view/1/Members/EN-US 13 voted for Pita. 34 against and 159 abstained. 1 resigned prior to the vote. 43 were no shows.
  8. I agree. He didn't do badly in the end. There'll be a lot of negotiations ongoing I imagine amongst the MP abstentions. Need to bring them in from the cold. It should be made clear that a vote for Pita is not the same as a vote for 112 amendment. That is the huge misconception everybody seems to have. People aren't thinking logically. Pita as PM should herald progressive stability.
  9. It's probably less than what's required, but there's a cold pool at the spa I go to every day. I used it to reduce the swelling over my eye when I face planted the road after tripping over my own feet. It worked! I have a friend who uses it for his shingles also.
  10. I used to live on Betel Nut Island (Koh Maak/เกาะหมาก). The nuts grow in great profusion on a tall slender palm. But the leaves used to wrap them in are from a completely different plant. Very few people on the island chewed betel. The trees threw out beautiful sprays. Not liquid, but delicate green fronds.
  11. Any amendment to 112 would have to be voted on in parliament. MFP has only 151 MPs. PT have stated they don't support it. So how on earth would this amendment ever happen? MFP would need at least 250 votes, and that's just in the lower house. So it's a non starter. But people like Anutin and 100s of others use it to vote against Pita or abstain. They should rename them the Brown Trouser Party. Scared sxxxless.
  12. Have you tried stopping? I mean, for good? Not the sex, but the beer. I think you'd be surprised just how difficult it is.
  13. I don't see where you get the idea the caretaker government will be around much longer. There is a majority coalition government agreed upon and readily elected. All this hoohah is about the next PM. And, considering PT is prepared to back him DESPITE the 112 issue, why can't the rest follow suit? PT doesn't back the 112 amendment, so all this about 112 getting in the way is rubbish. I've commented elsewhere about the conflation of 112/PM. The 2 are separate issues. I can't see how MFP is going to get it's amendments past an anti reformist parliament. So it's a non issue.
  14. Seems very moot what will happen to the current Senate at the end of its term, whenever that is. May or possibly March 2024 I guess. Will it continue on? Will there be elections? It doesn't get talked about much. PT and MFP must have plans for it. Shrouded in mystery.
  15. That would include Prayut, Prawit and all the top brass I believe.
  16. There seems to be a lot of confusion over the 112 amendment lobby and the Pita for PM lobby. They're not the same thing at all, but in the minds of the old crocs, they seem to be. Pita as PM is by no means a guarantee 112 will be amended, or even tabled. It's absurd to think that. Sure, it's a stated aim of the MFP, but they would still be a million miles from getting it through a massively anti reformist parliament. Not sure PT could get to 375 without MFP. They only have 141 MPs. But yes, probably a much better chance without 112. Same goes for MFP but Pita has ruled out ditching their stance on 112. One chart I saw, PT would only be able to muster 299 votes, if they went it alone with their candidate without MFP. No other party comes near. PT doesn't support amending 112, yet they support Pita for PM. That seems a possible way through for the other anti-112 amenders. There would have to be an extremely lengthy debate on any amendments to 112, even if it got that far. Can't see MFP forcing it through on a parliamentary vote. So why are the non reformers so scared?

  18. For those who are interested, a full breakdown of voting can be seen/downloaded from WeVis here: https://www.facebook.com/wevisdemo?mibextid=ZbWKwL You can view the big data files in Google sheets. Also home to the "Respect my Vote" campaign. Seems a most excellent site.
  19. If you want to actually try living without most luxuries, why not try a keto diet? One way to test your mental strength and lose weight fast! Of course, YMMV.
