Yes, read the UK Gov site, of course things may have changed as it was a long time ago........😉
Oh, and no charges either............
The UK gov website is huge, and it was a long time ago? I thought you were talking contemporary activity. Anyway, my method works for me, no charges and I can hold the £ until the exchange rate is favourable. Wise usually has amongst the best rates.

I have no problems using DWP's payments into my Thai bank, even getting preferential exchange rate, which is something DWP states.......
Every 4 weeks on a Thursday.......😉
Preferential exchange rates? Really?

I was going to suggest that too, but not sure if they have a one hour results service. There's one by the junction of Klang and 3rd also.

UK state pension is not paid directly to a Thai bank. It may have changed now, but I recall it is paid to Citibank, Ireland, they send it to Citibank Bangkok, they send it to your local Thai bank...😋
Or get it paid into your Wise sterling account. DWP have no problem doing that.

I believe it has been the case for many years.
I have not read all the details in the link, but think the answer is there.
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/passenger-name-record-data/passenger-name-record-data
Much appreciated! I read for 30 minutes including a lot of links, and quit. The stated purpose of PNR collection is for the prevention, detection, investigation and prosecution of terrorism and serious crime - drugs, trafficking, child sexual exploutation and the like. I don't think an OAP claiming to live in one place but actually living in another falls into that category. However, the data is there. But whether it would be legal for say the DWP to access it for checking on a pensioner is highly dubious. It's an EU based law, but the UK seems to have signed up to it. As have the US, Canada and Australia. So they are all sharing PNR, flight details, destination, luggage weight, check in times, ticket numbers and a ton of other data. Beyond that, who knows?
When I asked the Philippines IO if the UK government could track my movements in and out of Philippines, she simply said it would be possible, but highly unlikely. So there you have it. YMMV as I always say. Or in Thai "Up to you!".

That's not the answer I was looking for! I guess I'll have to do my own research.

Airlines in the uk submit information about people to uk boarder force.
They know, when you left and come back in to the uk,
if they wanted to look.
I find that quite surprising but I guess it's probably in their privacy policy. I'd like to see it quoted chapter and verse.

Game over.
A passport isn't what they would look at. You think they'd rely on that? Your entry and exit time and dates are recorded digitally every time you go through immigration. On my last trip to Philippines I asked the IO there upon leaving, if UK immigration could access my data on their system. She confirmed it but said it very rarely happens. So, safe to assume they can track you. Out of 500,000 OAPs living abroad, some will have notified HMRC or the DWP that they were leaving, in order to cancel tax returns or whatever, and maybe where they living thereafter. No idea of numbers. Others won't have bothered and either accept their pensions will be frozen if the DWP find out where they're living and it doesn't have an agreement, or it does. I guess just an exit from the UK as recorded at UK immigration would be enough to alert them. But I imagine it would be hugely time consuming trying to track possibly 100s of thousands of suspected non change of circumstances notifiers. Most benefit fraud in the UK is committed by Universal Credit applicants. Us OAPs probably pale into tiny insignificance compared. And if you do get caught, I think the only penalty would be to freeze your pension until you meet the requirements for the annual raise. This last item has been the subject of much heated discussion over the years. Some claim they, or a mate, had to pay back the excess payments. Others who claim they were incarcerated. Others that they were fined. And so it goes on. Information is thin on the ground. YMMV.

Former Deputy National Police Chief Pol Gen Surachate Hakparn could be charged with lese-majeste.
The complaint was filed by Pol Col Kritsanapong Kanchaiyakit based on an incident at J A Plus Hotel in Pattaya on May 22. According to previous news reports, Pol Gen Surachate was at the hotel that day to launch a campaign gathering 20,000 signatures to submit a petition for investigating a member of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, Suchart Trakulkasemsuk, for allegedly displaying impartiality, which constitutes severe ethical misconduct. Pol Col Narongrit Wapansu,
Deputy Commander of Chon Buri Provincial Police, has called a meeting for November 19 regarding the formation of an investigative committee to look into the complaint.

If you get your OAP paid direct into Thai bank, it is then TAX free, it is not paid from UK,, it is paid from outscorcing company actually in USA. But if it paid into UK bank, then yes it will be subject to tax over 12570. But may or may not suit you to check that out. Mine goes in to my Thai bank every 4th Friday at 9.01am its very good.
OAP is paid every 28 days. So a different day of the month every month. At least, that's my experience.

The article's nothing but a name drop for senior cops and politicians. Nothing was achieved. I could write such an article. It has no substance, no facts, no figures.

I tried Cebu Pacific Airlines web site but it's horrible... can't get past first page. I tried Firefox and Chrome - no go.
Cebu is only one flying non stop to Angeles City.
The net is full of frustrated travelers with similar experience.
Air Asia is selling Cebu Air tickets but does "two bad ones make one good one?"
Expedia is a mess too.
What to do?
https://www.cebupacificair.com/en-PH/
Nothing wrong with that link. I just did a trial return BKK to CRK, about 9k THB. I flew CRK to BKK just a few days ago. Arrive at about 2200 so no bus to Pattaya. If you fly to MNL you can get the 24 hour point to point Genesis bus to SM Clark for AC from terminal 3. 420 PHP.

Of course you wouldn't have a clue
Still sore? I went to a Swiss quack today off Thepprasit. He charged me 1100 THB for 2 nurses to syringe an ear with hydrogen peroxide. Fantastic. You obviously haven't a clue either. If they do, why don't you try one for one of your imagined ailments? Try Bob Martin for fleas. You seem to be itching to have a go.

That has to be one of the most deeply racist comments I've ever read. But I'm going to leave it at that. It's already way off topic.

Odd you ask that. One source I used did send more of an "icing sugar" version, rather than the granulated kind. Can't trace back which it was though. I'll have a go, but it was some time ago.
Found it:

It's quite a hassle clicking through Lazada's security checks. Who would have thought?

Actors take roles offered to them. Only one of the cast of Lawrence of Arabia was an Arab. Laurence Olivier plays Othello, but you don't complain. Your history? What has this got to do with watching MOTD? And so many black footballers! Are they taking over? Our game? That we invented? Outrageous!

UK Pensioners in Thailand Face New Scrutiny Over Pension Fraud
in Thailand News

On what do you base your own calculations? Fear? You're dragging in immigration when it has absolutely nothing to do with the topic. At any available opportunity people here start banging on about immigration. They blame everything on immigrants. It's classic. Classic rubbish.
