Hi Kadafi,
Very sorry to hear about this.
It's is unfair, but the test centre has a check list, and this being the UK they will not go beyond the check list.
What you can do is
1. Contact the life in the UK test helpline (0800 0154245), if you are abroad use the information at
http://lifeuk.info/blog/2010/06/19/life-in-the-uk-helpline-0800-0154245-how-can-they-help/
to contact they for free from outside the UK .
2. Contact the test centre manager (it's definitely worth a try)
btw, I am replying to this because of 2 reasons
- I took the test long time and
- I run a free service to help people with the Life in the UK test.
Hope this helps, please let me know how you guys get on.
Thanks.

Hi Jonathan & Piya,
Sorry to hear about the 3rd attempt.
The life in the UK test is not a difficult test (need to get 18 out of 24 questions correct in 45 minutes, you get almost 2 minutes per question !).
You need to
- Read the study guide or summaries
- Do practice tests
- Read the guide again
- Do practice tests again.
Search for
Life in the UK Test - Free Online Training, Practice Tests and Advice
On google
Try the free 7 days course at
Sorry can't posts links yet
or try the image below
along with the practice tests , you will pass easily.
Let me know if you need any help or material.

Hi all ,
I lived in Ratburana (Bangprakok) for 8 months last year. Would like to return to BKK but would love to try a different location, preferable away from touristy places. I think I am looking for a place with lots of locals and a cheap location (around 8-10k THB). The MUST haves are a pool and Internet
Would be most grateful for any advice
Cheers,
Jack
