Iowa six week limit seems to be causing a potential problem for the GOP. Women are angry. But the answer lies at state level and it's up to women, with male allies, to elect a legislature that will extend the limit. And that's why I suggest this is the last dance for abortion as a national issue. Many states now have laws in place which resonate with women. By 2028 more states will join that roster. All politics are local. And if local laws suit you, you will walk off the battlefield. But is Iowa the canary in the coal mine for Trump? For many there will be a delicious irony in his "greatest achievement" of having three Supreme Court justices appointed blowing back with electoral defeat as women avenge Roe v Wade.
