I'm not a red. I have a theory as to what influenced the blue vote. Men with erections in girls dressing rooms Men breaking women's jaws on the sporting field Black men being offered nothing but "do what you are told and get in line." White Men being told for years they are the devil. Asians being told they can't get access to the best universities because "diversity rewards dumb, not hard work and talent" Hispanics being told "your scum for not supporting illegal immigration." Let me point out something. I know a Hispanic man whose family arrived in 1702. The guy lives in Colorado. He's sick of being treated like a Johnny-come-lately immigrant. Women being told they better support a notorious sock cucker cos "she's one of us." Pro-choice women being told they better support full term abortion. Here's one for the dumber Democrats. People being told "inflation is under control, it's down to 3%." Yeh, after rising 27% in the past four years. That's like saying "it's fine honey, only the bottom quarter of the house is flooded and the flow has slowed" But do you know what else and never underestimate this. Your average American knows their Republican aunt and uncle that love them, carried them as babies, cried at their wedding and held them at their daddy's funeral is not a fascist. Harris had already lost the election, but her reaction to the Kelly/Hitler story was the final nail. It was the greatest example of GODWINS LAW in history. And CONTRARY TO OPINION. Not as many Democrat voters went missing as first thought. And not a great number switched sides. But many took the VALID DEMOCRATIC DECISION TO SIT THE ELECTION OUT. I did exactly that at this years UK election. I couldn't vote SNP as they put a rapist in a woman's prison. I couldn't vote Tory because......I'd be here all day, and couldn't vote Labour as I knew they would destroy the country. So, feel free to argue any of my points and there are far more I could bring up.

I see Democrat talking heads and analysts asking the same question about the millions of missing voters. Simply put - 2020 was a truly unique election. The rage over covid motivated a higher than normal turnout as proved by the number that voted for Trump too. This time, its reverting closer to the norm and I think millions of Democrats sat on their hands rather than vote for Sanctimonious Harris.

I remember years ago a British news anchor actually passed his opinion during a news report. He was sacked the next day.

I'll write a series of Thai related articles over the next couple of weeks and post them on AN. Fairs fair, they unbanned me last year, I owe the forum some quality content.
-
Yes, I'll be retiring from the politics aspect of the forum soon unless something dramatic happens/ It's time to return to Thai lifestyle issues - far more interesting.

I call them The Daily Beggar as every article ends with a begging letter. Unfortunately, they have received a river of money from the American left as a result. The Guardian has always been the place where weirdos go to lather themselves in culture wars, Marxism and hippie ideology. Bunch of sandal wearing, self loathing halfwits.

^^If it makes any difference I'm in the 120 - 140 range. Our forum village idiot reckoned that I knew nothing about American politics. So I just spent three months destroying his fragile wee ego. I don't think many people can now accuse me of knowing nothing about US politics. And even though I have the village idiot on ignore, I can see he's having an epic meltdown. I hope I contributed to that in some small way.

The evil left speaks. The evil left doesn't realise the worst thing that can happen is Trump dying, especially by assassination. JD Vance would unleash an unbelievable MAGA wave using the emotional backlash. The evil left are truly stupid, stupid people. In fact, they are morons.

Due to population changes, it's expected by the 2030 census that 12 electoral votes will be moved from Blue states to reliable Red states. California is expected to lose 4 electoral votes alone. That's more votes than deep blue Vermont, for example. And the census is population based, not citizen based. Expect that to be challenged again during this Presidency.

4B no sex movement- good news for sane men
theblether replied to theblether's topic in Political Soapbox
Benefits for sane men 1. Liberal psychopaths removed from the dating pool 2. Drastic reduction in abortion demand 3. Libtard babies not being born to these headcase mothers = less future voters for the Dems 4. Hot MAGA girls will be putting it out more just to annoy the libtards Great - what's not to like? -

So I was right about abortion - Roe v Wade is dead

Leftists persisting with the idea that all Trump voters are dumb shows why they lost. -

California will need the immigration as they are on line to lose 4 electoral college votes due to immigration decline. Guess which state is increasing by 4? That's right. Ruby red Florida -

There's zealots on both sides, the difference is that as long as Roe v Wade was in the mix, centrist Republicans who were outraged about judicial ( Supreme Court ) overreach amplified their zealots. Centrist Republicans have now walked off the battlefield. And contrary to expectations, many red states now have European style laws on the book. The lesson for Democrats is to never again select nominees by coronation. They tried it with Hillary and saw three SCOTUS seats filled, and now they've tried it with Harris and wait till you see the number of thirty-year old conservatives nominated to fill judge vacancies in the next four years 🤣🤣🤣 -
What Americans Want and why Democrats Failed
theblether replied to NickyLouie's topic in Political Soapbox
There are many like that in the UK today. I was talking to a lady last week who has a homeless daughter. Heroin is her God, and has been for twenty years. There is no lie she will not tell, no theft she will not make, no c*** she will not s*** to serve her addiction. These are the people who get set up with furnished homes and sell everything inside the house to fund their addiction. The lady I spoke to said it was a form of torture. She considers her daughter a malignant ghost, a reminder of what should have been overlaid with the reality. -

Maybe they just fancy going through life without being told they are white supremacists? -
What Americans Want and why Democrats Failed

The majority of voters made it clear they don't want what the Democrats are offering. The sooner the Democrats excise the poison of the Marxist scum and DEI grifters the better. These people are a cancer on the party. And the bizarre thing is, as a result they have driven youngsters into conservative/republican positions. -

The problem for the Democrats is that the Republicans have four years to eradicate this Democrat totem pole. Nebraska 12 week rule is a good example. -

There are exceptions to the Kentucky law - I am of the opinion its way too restrictive If you’re in Kentucky, you may need to travel out of Kentucky to get an abortion unless you qualify for an exception. Exceptions are very limited and include: To save the pregnant person's life To prevent serious risk to the pregnant person's physical health. You can leave Kentucky and get an abortion out of state. -
And there lies the primary issue. Dirt Road Democrats need to reclaim their party and remove the Marxist agitators.

So I was right about abortion - Roe v Wade is dead
theblether replied to theblether's topic in Political Soapbox
The strange thing is - both Democrats and Republicans will miss the issue at national level. It was a masthead issue. And now it's gone. Most US states will settle for European style abortion access. There will be bitter local arguments over the issue but that's fine, because at the end of the day. All politics are local. -
Once again, I'm comfortable with abortion law in the UK ( I'm British ). This thread is not about abortion - its about electoral reality. The time of Roe v Wade being an election issue is over. This was the first Presidential election since it was sent back to state legislature, and the pro-choice party lost in a landslide. Including the popular vote. Three years ago no one would have believed you. Apparently seven out of ten abortion related bills passed at state level during this election. Abortion is legal in every state. There will be more adjustments to abortion law during the midterms. By 2028 this issue will be effectively gone from national politics. And the new mantra against the few who will continue to talk about it will be - "you've got access to abortion already." Roe v Wade is finished.
