Love hotels everywhere in Japan. Go around the corner. Take a taxi. Still, what your saying is you fkd in seclusion. Done that myself but the post isn't exactly about having a sneaky one out of eye sight is it? Please let me quote you ...

Do you need professional help with reading?

I know.  I used to live there.  Come on man, keep up!

Do appreciate your advice even if it's 30 odd years later.  And thank you for the Bowie tune.  I've been humming it the past 10 minutes.  :stoner:

Major Tom to ground control. Love hotels everywhere in Japan. From your post it's either a troll or you have serious problems. Either way you should seek professional help.

You are Major Tom?  In outer space?

Not a troll post.  True story x 2.  Like I said, our usual love hotel was booked up.  Do you need professional help with reading?

It was a great time in Japan then though.  Aged 18-21, the country shifting from Elvis and 50s era fad into the 60s..... all those JN women were up for it, exploring their sexual freedom and perversions.

Not sure anyone would want to see dirty fat lecherous old men sweating and grunting for 30 seconds with some female less than half their age.

A dirty, skinny lecherous young man sweating and grunting for 45 seconds with a female about the same age, is better for you?

Every day I'm feeling more and more embarrassed. Soooooo many fkd heads here now. A real shame.

    Just add alcohol, stir gently.

One cold night in Japan, GF and I couldn't get a room in our normal place.  In heated desperation, we tried a house of ill repute but ironically, they wouldn't agree to rent us a room for a while.  So I shagged her on the hood of the owner' car in the covered car port.   That was fun.  Another one followed me through a break in the fence of a school.  3 or 4 in the morning, the doors were locked so we got down right there on the steps.  Fun times.  But a taxi... I'm not sure I would try that.

  5. The normal YT News vid on Thaivisa's front/home page isn't there.  Trying to play any kind of video, the small dialogue box says: "Waiting on googleapis.com".  I don't know anything about the inner workings of all this, so the comments above are interesting to me.

Actually the legitimate media regularly reports that his core supporters stand by him in spite of all his gaffs and lack of accomplishments.

    <snip>

Kinda reminds of the warm feelings Dems have for the legendary former VP, Joe Biden.  They just adore his fake ass folksy yuk yuk act almost as much as Hillary's ever-changing regional accents.   Good old Uncle Joe and Grandma Hillary.

The writer of this article sounds like one of those poor rioting losers in LA or Chicago. He should have stated that this was just his uneducated  opinion because it sure is not an article that seems to have any intelligent investigations in it's content.

I agree in general, but it is an Editorial.   Says so on the label.

But right, it's a bit over the top, melodramatic.  For a moment there, I thought The Nation had hired Jingthing.

Spotted a periscope once off the starboard side of a ship I as on.  We weren't flying any helos and didn't have any escorts around.  It was one of ours, and they intended for us to see them.  They were probably laughing their asses off while we, on the other hand, had a sobering reminder of what a huge, dumb, loud target we were.

Years later I went on a small attack sub for a meeting (pier side) and there were photos of many US Navy ships taken from periscope.  :saai:

What are these for, attack or defence? If it is defence I doubt any invasion will come from the sea.
I remember about 20 years ago they tried to buy some subs and found that given the relatively shallow water in the Gulf of Thailand they would be visible from the air over a lot of the area.
Now if they plan to sail away to places like N Korea that would be a different proposition.

They'll get some practice in if they catch one of these in open water out over the horizon.

But Kim Jong Un knows it's much easier, and faster, to deploy 2 hot chicks to an airport with some toxic nerve agent.

I'm amazed at how much money you can earn prostituting your body in South Korea. No wonder there is a problem, look how much they get paid!

That's more than a Doctor gets paid. I wonder what the penalties on getting caught are in South Korea? There's got to be a downside to this.

Those gals are like rock stars to the lost souls doing 100 Baht tug jobs in a Darkside dump with blacked out windows.

Relief for whom? It's certainly not going to continue relief for the millions of people it benefited. I'm not surprised you just posted an emotional reaction and no facts. Because the facts are massively against this bill.

This is not the health-care bill that Trump promised

Trump’s promise to cover everyone more broadly and for less money was always an impossibility, akin to saying that you were going to have your cake, eat your cake — and give everyone in America the same cake, which would feed them forever. But based on the comments he made at the unusual Rose Garden ceremony to celebrate the passage of the House bill, it’s still not clear that he admits that what was passed diverges from what he promised.

LOL.  Nice attempt at re-direction, but no cigar.

Fair enough but if they wanted to call him on that rule they should have done it at the  check-in counter , not after they allowed them to board the plane.

That's what I was thinking too.  Delta considered his teenage son a "no show".

Fare rules not withstanding, should have worked all this out at the check in desk hours beforehand.  If Dad didn't bring it up then, and thought he might be able to get by if challenged later, then he loses a lot of empathy from me.

    --------------

But this is just another example where the airline staff had a choice in how to handle this.

    A. Fix the ticket with a few strokes of the keyboard. Keep the family together and fly them home.  That Standby passenger they wanted to give the seat to will be disappointed, but will get over it.

    B. Or dig their heels in and start a bullshit contest of wills.  And to win, call in armed, government police to intimidate and escalate a business/customer service dispute way out of proportion, and maybe even take it "all the way" with physical force.

Police:  This is a FEDERAL OFFENSE!  If you don't comply, we'll throw you and Mom in jail, and put your infant children in a state run foster care system!   Come on, way out of proportion.

    I have no predictions now.

Obviously, it's a fact that this isn't nearly over yet.

But I would have predicted the entire "repeal and replace" the ACA was finished until after the 2018 midterm elections. But that didn't happen.

That's a relief.  But The Resistance is against anything and everything.  See post #7^.  Same thing and moreover, a repeat performance of the Obama Resistance.

Well thanks for all the responses,as you see i have answered a couple of posts above ,admiting i am probably to blame for this ,when i wrote the op i was actually quite angry,i do have somewhat of a short fuse, something i am trying to work hard on to stop. Just to clear up a couple of points, the hotel was booked for 5 nights for 12,000, there is no cancellation fee,but there is of course a fee for a no show, however as several posters have pointed out i did not explain this to her,as a regular traveller myself,i guess i just presumed she would know,my fault.  The reason i did not go was yes i did not want to pay for everything, but i am dealing with other matters, such as the builders finishing off her house, amongst other things which i need not to go into here, and i am certainley not screwing another girl,as one poster suggested. Anyway i have called her told her not to worry and enjoy herself. On another point which i have had many arguments before on Tv,the   allowance, now when i lived in Australia i would give my wife about $700 out of my take home pay each week, this was for food bills ,the kids and money for herself,so how does this differ here that i support my girl and her family, were i live jobs are not easy to come by and i do not want her working in the feilds for 300 bht a day. Therefore i support her because i am lucky enough to be in a position to do so,and i would be a mean piece of work if i did indeed deduct money from next month, over  simple mistake, after a long day on the bus from Wichianburi to Bangkok, then getting to the airport the flight ect, ect. If i haave lerned anything from this is it would have been far better to 1;let her choose the hotel in the first place,  2; to not have called in anger when she texted me about what had happened and  3; i should have gone with her.  Thanks to all who replied it has certainley helped me put this all in perspective.

I was having a go at your expense in my response.  But this response ^ above sounds more like you, reasoned, rational.   I am very empathetic to your OP though.  I do Face Palms here quite often.  I get it.  Glad you've calmed down and worked through it.  Cheers.
