As KhaoYai has already pointed out the problem will be infrastructure, it is already a big problem in the UK as charging times are long (Somtimes up to 1 hour) in addition, charging points not working or connection problems but the main concern will be having a sufficient electricity supply for the whole country and not just Bangkok

As KhaoYai has already pointed out the problem will be infrastructure, it is already a big problem in the UK as many rapid charging points were not working or there were an insufficient number of charging points, charging times are long (almost an hour to charge up in some cases) but critically the power generation will need to be greatly increased throughout Thailand & not just in Bangkok, otherwise the vehicle recovery trucks will be kept very busy.

IMO the government do not want Pattaya to open, not until there is concrete proof that it is dead, they are afraid everyone will flock back to Pattaya and revive the old place ...........

He said he would currently withhold from speaking about whether renowned opera tenor Andrea Bocelli would be able to hold a countdown performance in Thailand, adding that a lesson has been learned to not speak about something that is not yet final. The minister said he would be more careful when giving out information in the future.
Could he also pass on this information to the rest of the government spokespeople so as not to further confuse the population .........................LOL

They first better get a good infrastructure plan in place, it will not just be a case of extension cables all over the place plus the power supply needed to provide the required services.
