    This is doable and acceptable for both Thai government and foreigners/travelers/tourists. It should help with tourism.

    Stop being logical, how can the government receive a pat on the back and a nice brown envelope from the BKK hoteliers association for all the additional one night stays. .....................LOL

    We can't have people sitting at bars drinking, even if vaccinated, because you can still spread and even catch the virus.

     

    This is and will remain the perfect control tool for governments, until they are ready to lift whatever restrictions they deem fit for the masses, and without people rising, could be a while before drinks, and sitting at that bar enjoying a cold one while some young filly is dancing on the bar literally above your head trying to get your attention.

     

    Damn I miss the old days pre-Covid were I used to play hard to get, for about 10 seconds. 

    People need to socialise it is something important to our development, look at what you are saying then agree with what the government want to do by holding mass gatherings for firework displays etc. then explain to me the difference

    A couple of problems with this philosophy, the first being have a good look around, wealthy people have much better places to go to, cleaner & safer. & secondly this kind of thinking does not feed the working class of people, look at the comments from the bar and small restaurant owners in Phuket they saw absolutely nothing from this line of thinking; try considering the population for a change instead of the rich and influential they have enough already.

    Personally, I hope they keep the ban in place, nothing to do with if they are more healthy than smoking cigarettes but I find the e-smoking devices more obnoxious that cigarette smoke, I am an ex-smoker myself but I would much rather sit next to someone smoking a cigarette than someone smoking one of these e-devices, the amount of smoke they put into the air is terrible they are definitely more anti-social.
