Gen Prayut wrote on his Facebook account Prayut Chan-o-cha that yesterday (Sept 15) he visited the Chao Phraya dam in Chai Nat province to see water flows from the North and he learned that two previous storms caused floods in some areas only and water levels remained stable in general.
He should have come to Pattaya, it was far worse than in previous years ..!!!

One of the problems with these so called ice-trucks is they get overloaded, they seem to forget or not realise that water (or frozen water in this case) is heavy, you see it every day with overloaded trucks such as these or motorbike with sidecars heavily overloaded and difficult to control.

Unfortunately, what Thailand is not addressing is freedom for holiday makers with respect to socialising, free movement, restaurants where people can enjoy a bottle of wine with their meal and bars with entertainment such as live music and where they are able to have a beer or two.

The pickup truck driver, Mr. Nantaset Summart, 32, told the associated Thai press, “I was driving normally, under the speed limit. However, I suddenly crashed into the back of the container truck, it appeared out of nowhere and I didn’t see it due to the road being unusually dark. The accident wasn’t my fault.”
One has to smile at the excuse ????????????

This is such a stupid rule and I for one hope Thailand pay the price in full for continuing to implement it. All prospective tourists should be made well aware of this ban among all the other ridiculous hoops & hidden costs they will have to endure so they can choose where they would really like to go to ENJOY their hard earned holiday

They need to grasp in very short order that no foreign tourists will come whilst extensive restrictions are in place
Ignore that everything is virtually shut anyway Thailand needs to fully understand that 99% of tourists are not coming until they can arrive at Suvarnabhumbi with just a Covid Certificate, Passport and a smile
Until that happens Thailands tourist industry doesn't exist
All perfectly correct, in addition, people need to be able to go out and enjoy themselves which in turn means travelling, eating & drinking without restrictions

Dual pricing is endemic in Thailand and has been as long as I can remember, the only reason being GREED !!!

I would imagine the numbers from the UK are lower than anticipated as Thailand still remains on the UK's RED list.
