This is Correct, stop all this segregation and confusion for all prospective tourists - Then grow a pair and OPEN the country this means everything.

What a complete crock of brown sloppy stuff, the only stress is being found out to have been at the end of brown envelope payment trail; everyone knows it is a complete sham and shows what a bunch of corrupt people are in charge of the country.

With Bangkok sinking and the sea rising according to climate change forecasts the future could be grim if Bangkok city planners drop the ball.
Maybe this is why the government want to sell off land in selected areas to foreigners .....LOL With reference to city planners dropping the ball I would say more like dropped the would be nearer the mark. I remember a while back there was talk about developing a new location for the capital city, lets hope they choose wisely and not just purchase land because of who owns it like swampy.

The sooner he goes, as long as democracy can be restored, the sooner Thailand can try to start to move forward again.
You said the main point - As long as democracy can be restored,

He is partially correct, when I first came to live in Pattaya (some considerable time ago) Soi Bongkot did not flood at all, it was only when a certain hotel on Soi Honey plus other road works interfered with the drainage system that things started to go wrong and Soi Bongkot started flooding. Now it is a total mess, they continue to divert the natural flow of water without due consideration for what may go wrong.

Not necessarily, prices might be good value for the products but still too much for the families. People have been hit hard so spending power is less. Does not mean they think the prices are too expensive for the stuff they get just too much given the money they have now.
If they are purchasing elsewhere I do believe the people think otherwise

Obviously other outside visitors think otherwise regarding the prices of seafood from the local traders

I do wish they would stop pussy footing around either the country is ready to open up, which means everything for everyone or its not, if its not fit for the local public to enjoy themselves why would the government even consider opening up to the world. - Just greed at the expense of others, either open up or don't

The Pattaya City Police raided a restaurant in Jomtien last night September 22nd, 2021, allegedly finding both foreign nationals and Thais drinking alcohol that police said violated the Chonburi Disease Control order to control the spread of Covid -19.
If the police can do it why not the population, at least they are not carrying guns and making a menace of themselves ..........!!!!

Seems to me they still have restrictions in place such as no alcohol in restaurants and then certain places closed. If all I was doing was hitting Phuket to hang out at one of the Panwa resorts in the past i would still need the following: A question one needs to ask is this "Have the requirements truly changed or are they still to much?
"travel to Phuket by land, sea and air as long as they are fully vaccinated or have recovered from being infected with COVID-19 no more than six months previously. They must also have tested negative for COVID-19 by RT-PCR or antigen test kit (ATK) within seven days before arriving".
“Such measures will be announced from October 1, 2021 onwards, but people will have to wait for the official order from the province before it can come into effect,”
You are correct the problem is are the travel companies the world over relating all this relevant information being passed on to prospective tourists, unfortunately I have my doubts....

All must pay Bt12,000 once they agree to get the treatment and an additional Bt2,000 monthly for food. The treatment was on a 12-month contract. Another Bt10,000 must be paid for early discharge or breach of contract.
