The situation has been aggravated by the strengthening baht, he added.
There it is in a nutshell - I think the only reason to keep the Baht so high is to pay for all the military purchases and what about the people - SAD ..............!!!!!

“So far there has been no report of the Covid-19 virus being found in seafood products,” Wichan Ingsrisawang, deputy director-general of the department, said.
Maybe it is just that people remember where this Wuhan virus first originated and seafood products are feared by association ............

How would that work, if, say there were half a dozen different people entering a village at different times over a few days?
Unless photos were circulated, surely no one could know who was who - a goody or a baddie.I'm not trying to be obstreperous, but trying to fathom out how the instructions above could work practically.
The goody's wear white hats & the Baddie's Black hats easy ..........LOL

Even if you were a foreigner paying out of pocket though the bill for 14 days in the public system would be well under 100,000, it's very inexpensive.
Could you push the bill over 100,000 at the most expensive private hospital, sure you could. But it doesn't have to cost that, and the typical cost of Covid isolation/treatment for who this is directed at would not come anywhere near 100k.
Tell this to the Thai government who insist on using high priced hospitals for all others .................LOL

Apart from the inconvenience of having this disease this amount would not cover the hospitalisation even if you could prove that it was directly as a result of the lady in question (WHICH I DOUBT) in other words this is just a scam that they should be ashamed of starting.
