Western tourists – and most other tourist also, for that matter – will not be coming back in numbers before the mandatory quarantine period is lifted.
Plus the ridiculous amount of money required in a bank account before people can even think about coming .........LOL

So he said that he has spoken to the new commander of the highway police, Pol Maj-Gen Ekkarat Limsangkat, to reorganise checkpoints so that fines are paid 2 kilometers away from where they are issued.
Why not just state that all fines are to be paid at the nearest police station to where the perpetrator lives? alternatively the nearest 7-11 ..................LOL

The problem is would the government publicise it if it did happen - This is an example of how much they are trusted ...........

The foreigners will be quarantined in the golf clubs with accommodation standard in line with alternative local state quarantine centres. This idea came up after suggestions from golfers from four Asian countries, namely, China, South Korea, Japan and Taiwan.
Exactly how many golf clubs have the facilities to house, feed, segregate isolation players from the general public etc. ...................LOL

What is the point in commenting, the reasons are understood by the farang population it is the Thais who cannot or will not bring themselves to understand that the rules apply to them as well; this coupled with the none action of the police who for some reason don't want to look bad or afraid if someone is "Connected" in some way, and finally the paltry fines issued to those who commit misdemeanors who know they will only get a slap on the wrist if they get caught, until all of this is addressed absolutely nothing will change.

If they then test negative for the virus, they can travel to various locations on the island, wearing an electronic wristband to monitor their movements. Any found to be infected with Covid-19 will be transferred for treatment.
I guess this will only be for farang visitors, can't see the Chinese visitors agreeing to to the 14 days plus wrist bands ............LOL
