Why is there no fogging campaign during this period, in the Middle East and many other countries where mozzies are problematic the governments are soon out with the fogging blowers as soon as the first infections are realised, after all Thailand keeps boasting it is a "World Class" destination ..............LOL

Should the Thai Embassy make a complaint to the Australian Government?
Currently nobody is allowed into Australia except citizens and permanent residents.
Thailand is actually letting different groups of people in, including foreign work permit holders, permanent residents, business people, married, those with Thai children etc.
Thailand is being pretty fair considering public opinion, yet folk think they should just swing open the doors.
Dream on.
Who other than you mentioned Australia? I said world wide, maybe too much for you to comprehend....LOL

The thing I find amazing in Thailand it the various embassies are not lifting a finger to help, this situation and the way the Thai government is treating everyone must have been reported in every country in the world, I can but hope they are saving this information for a rainy day as it really is scandalous how the Thai government are treating people who have made investments in good faith only to defecated on by this none elected government

and count how many people (both cars and motorbikes)are going around them.
These are installed for a good reason but the safety aspect of them is nearly out weight by the danger they create.
Absolutely nothing will work other than full gate crossings, these half road barriers will never work here as it gives them a way to go around, only total road blockage will work .......!!!

The tour companies would collectively arrange their insurance and the nature of the business would mean that it would be controlled as the tourists would not stray and would be led around from business to business like they always did.
Apart from the rich Thai's who own these establishments, how does the normal Thai benefit from any of this ........????

Enough is enough, it's about time all the government department leaders sat down and talked to each other, (If they can find a room big enough) the only thing they appear capable of doing is creating confusion and hysterior among the population. The amount of uncertainty regarding stability of this country must be at an all time high, obviously the government have never heard of the saying "Too many cooks spoil the broth" there are so many stories running at the moment nobody is taking them seriously, they make these ridiculous statements one day and the next frighten people away by saying "Ah but you can't stay in your new home until you jump through these additional hoops that we have just thought up, going to the dogs is nothing in it .........!!!!

Cant they just put a few sticks there like they do with holes in the roads and pavement, what about sticking a bit of red cloth on like they do on the blatantly illegal loads on pickups that decapitate motorcyclists....
Don't forget Thailand is "World Class" which World & Class they are referring to is anyone's guess .............LOL

Trains in this country are not exactly bullet trains approaching at 300kph, are they? Passenger trains travel at a maximum speed of 70kph, while freight trains are usually considerably slower. If you actually pay attention you can see them coming - and it still takes them a minute or so before they actually reach the actual crossing. But if you're not looking...
Absolutely correct, and the government still think Thailand is a "World Class" destination - Can't wait for them to get the high speed trains then they can really go for it ...................LOL

Thanavat said all stimulus packages are estimated to inject Bt110 billion into the economy, which should boost growth in the fourth quarter to 2 to 3 per cent, bringing the previously estimated contraction down to between minus 4 and minus 5 per cent from minus 6 to minus 7 per cent.
But once again they are missing the point - The majority of the normal Thai population are running out of finances unlike the rich 2% ...................

He said all these visitors will have to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival, reassuring the community that there is nothing to worry about.
Here we go once again, one side of the government or tourist department is saying 7 to 10 days for the Chinese & once again the PM saying 14 days. It is high time the PM put his foot down and stopped all the confusing reports ............!!!!

Chinese media has questioned the identity of those tourists, however, with reports unable to confirm any Thailand travel bookings among agents in Guangzhou.
This is frightening, so exactly which part of China were these so called high-end tourists supposed to be coming from WUHAN? it really does make one think. Plus with the news we are getting it is obvious that the Chinese do not want to spend 14 days in quarantine, can't in all honesty blame them for this but rules are supposed to apply to everyone so it is what it is ...............
