This was first reported as a Chinese request also from what I remembered was not favourable with Malaysia or Singapore as it would cut both countries off from land borders and would not benefit Thailand - Let the Chinese find an alternative for their military vessels.

Questions people will want to know are what hoops do they have to jump through to get one, can they be obtained in country (i.e. people already here and wanting to stay longer) or are they only obtainable through a Thai embassy together with all the paperwork that has become one of the biggest obstacles facing possible visitors, together with insurance, and the forced overpriced quarantine etc.

I am confused, I always thought there was a law governing the number of animals (Cats or Dogs) that can be kept within the confines of a house or condo. In addition don't they have to be registered? it all sounds a little strange.
