I'd like to know that too.
I intend to bring in money but intend to take out in a couple of years. Would that be easier if I show that the money was not earned in Thailand?

In case of a broker, can I invest 50,000 tb only?
-
I can do it through the bank, but to my understanding, banks are reluctant to do it and direct you to their securities.

Hi, I'm a cautious person when it comes to money investments, and would like to start investing in the Thai stock market as low as 50,000 tb, and then work my way up. I hear that this is impossible you have to invest at least 1 million tb in order to start investing.
Is there a possibility somewhere of only 50,000 tb?
Thanks for any advice

Well, I did post the same topic before, but maybe rephrasing itwill attract people who would know more.
So, I'd like to invest money in the Thai SET, I realize the banks do not handle it. Should I approach a broker? and if so, could anybody direct me to one?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I've read a few of the posts regarding the above.
At this point I'd like to invest in set 50 and cpnrf. So,this morning I went to the Kasikorn bank ready to ask the right questions, like commissions etc, and to put the money.. I found out that the bank (or banks in general in Thailand) don't handle this matter at all. They referred me to their securities division, which is located in another area. However, entering their website, it gives you a phone number which speaks Thai, regardless of "for English dial *9".
Can anybody direct me to how to invest in the stock market in Thailand the easiest way? Lowest commission?
Doesn't have to be Kasikorn, could even be a reliable broker.
Thanks a million.

Ohh, Chiang Mai is far, too far for us...

Yes, every dentist I've been to in Thailand does that.

Hi there,
I've been living in Thailand for the last three years and I manufacture leather handbags. The leather is of first quality and so is the work.
If you are interested in import/export from Thailand to your country pm me and I could give you more details.

Mantana,
Thank you very much for the reference. I've been at naratiwas soi 24, that's exactly what I was looking for. I looked at a few apartments and did not decide yet. But I'll keep on looking there.
Thank you again!

OK, that helps. Could you let me know who should I approach if I want to do it?

Hi,
I have started a workshop of leather goods and started selling on my website.
I am also interested in selling them in the local markets here in BKK.
My question to you is: could you recommend a market/markets that sell higher quality goods, i.e. higher prices then the local goods?
I would appreciate any information regarding the matter.
Thanks

I have Thai driver's licence and that would be my first time to drive in Thailand!

Hi,
I plan to hire a car and drive to CM.
Since I'm not reading Thai road signs, or Thai at all, I'd like to get instruction how to get there, and also if there are nice places on the way where we could see and enjoy.
Thanks

Thank you very much for your help.
I think I might have found the solution. Making the current IP address permanent.
It's working now. Every time I shut down the computer it comes back to the same address. I'll keep on checking for the next few days. If not, I'll try one of the methods above.
Thanks again!

Hi,
I've been living in BKK for two and a halve years now and would like to move to a different location. Since I don't know where to start looking
could anyone recommend a nice building?
It could be in the Silom area, Sukhumvit area, Chon Nonci, or any central location.
My requirements are:
2-3 bedroom
High rise
Big size swimming pool
Gym
Near any train, or motorcy distance
Farange welcoming, with farange children.
I'll be happy to receive recommendation of general areas as well.
The budget might be a little tricky: up to 25,000tb.
Thanks a million for any help

Hi
There is a website I regularly enter which is now blocked to Thailand due to hacking. I called the place and they told me I would need to have a permanent IP adress so they could approve me.
I called my internet supplier and they said they could provide me with a new one if I'd change the package. The package would now be much slower and cost 5000 tb a month.
Is there a way I could get or buy a permanent IP adress?
Thanks for any advice.

Hi Ladies,
I gather there isn't any gathering for us in Bangkok.
So let's have some.
I suggest meeting once a month in a nice place. It could be at different places every time.
Anybody up for it?

Oh, I forgot to mention that the school is in Bangkok.
-
I was previously inquiring about Thai language school for myself, but now, since I've found one I'd like to recommend it to everybody. There is a school on Ramkhamkhen soi 43. It is an international school and they also have Thai classes. It's called Grace International School and from some reason I don't think they advertise themselves. The teachers are very skilled and serious and also very nice people, curriculum is great, and they have small classes. I'm already in module 2 and enjoy it a lot . It is 6000 tb + 300 tb for books.
You can approach it also from lad Prao soi 112.
Their telephone is 02-539-4516-8. I don't have anything to do with the school's management and only want to make recommendation for those who are looking for a good school.

I find it very easy to find domestic help. Many Thay's are available, I've had 4 of them in the last year...the difficult part is to find someone who would be honest, loyal and responsible. Also someone who eventually you could leave her alone in the house. My first one was ssssso good, she left the house clean as a whistle. The problem? she stole anything she laid her eys on, and she was good at that. telephone, canned food, table clothes. She wiped the house. I was hoping it will stop after asking where is that or this. It didn't. I let her go, and now nobody from the neighborhood wants to work for me. They say ok, next day they cxl. The stories are too long for this forum, but I would suggest: go by recommendations only.

There is van #97 that goes from Ramkhamheng all the way to Nonthaburi/pakret. You can catch it also on Lad prao after the mall bangkapi heading west. Takes a long time though.
Van From Bangkok To Rayong
in Thailand Travel Forum
Posted
Hi There,
We intend to take a trip to Rayong next week.
I know about the buses that leave ekamai and northern terminal.
But I was wandering if there are vans to go there which will allow us to be more comfortable.
Any ideas, anyone?
