Were talking YOUR car here so we don't want pictures of other vehicles Your saying how great YOUR interior is so only pictures of that in future . Don't hype YOUR car up to be better than others we obviously all find it very comical, and can you please list in your next post the number of other Cruze owners that have come to your defense in this thread as this will give us all the feeling for the real market penertration of this vehicle , when other makes/models get slyted on the forum owners come out and disagree/agree so post your supporters please.
Wow. Listen to you. You're so worked up about a car. You had to post twice in a row.
People who buy the Cruze are a class above people who post on here. So, when I go be with MY kind of people, I see the Cruze all over the place.
And notice again, when presented with the truth (leather in the mitsubishi) then the trolls come out and shift the conversation again. Hilarious it is
Your last sentence is spot on , but unfortuently in the way you cant see
.
So now you've resorted to the "I know you are but what am I?" Pee Wee Herman defense?
You people aren't for real.

a thousand times better looking.
Yea... In 1975

I love how these keyboard warriors love to put others down, but don't dare to put pictures of their own cars up here.

Maybe the pics don't do it justice, but my seats are great. I love the leather. The material I picked was rough, not the smooth one.
For all your bullshit about it being "wrinkled in the corners" and the seat part being "saggy", well, here is a brand new LTZ with the 2 tone leather from factory. As you can see, the leather "sags" in the same places. Not all leather in cars fits in the same way. The leather in my Sebring has a similar fit to this.

your covers are crap and will only get crappier.
OK. Anything else?

Sorry if i have missed this elsewhere, but any hints as to what new Vios / Yaris will look like? And date of release?
Yes.
The new VIOS got a facelift. And it is just about time because the VIOS looks like crap.
Since it is Toyota, I am assuming the interior is still cheap and the ride is loud.
The Yaris no longer looks gay or like a M3 girl's car. No longer silly interior of centered mounted gauges. Never got that one.

the Cruze's seats are hard as a rock. Leather or no leather. Doesn't matter.
O Dear will have to give the Cruxe a miss, 'seat hard as a rock' no thanks
I love them. Worst thing for your back is a mushy seat that will sink and have a hole in them. You sit in the Cruze, it is firm and great for your back.
They are firm and extremely well bolstered. You feel like you are in the cockpit of a fighter jet.
Speaking of which, the wife took the Cruze today and it is picking me up..

HighwayPolice can provide info on roads condition in Thai language. call 1193
I do it the old fashion way. I look out the window and slow the hell down.

Amazing how many Mini there are on the roads here, for the price cannot figure it out, so many other options...
BMW 320i. Mazda MX5, Volvo C30, Alfa Romeo, Subaru Impreza WRX Turbo, Volkswagen Scirocco, Volkswagen Golf 2.0 GTi, Mercedes-Benz C200 BlueEFFICIENCY, to be different you could get a Citroen DS3 + a top model Honda City
A Mini is about the last car I would think about buying for that sort of money.
It is very easy to figure it out actually.
There is a guy next to my house who is building the "Mini Cooper" dealer right now (of course it is not called that, it is called something like "Hi-Car Auto" or whatever it is). He says what they do is bring the car in pieces. No tax, and then he assembles them here i nThailand. He says he can sell us a new Cooper starting at under 1 million (between 800k-1mil).
He said it will be mainly Coopers, but that he will do other "exotic" cars the same way.
Haven't you noticed the incredible amount of 5 series BMW's and E class mercerdes around? They are almost as common as Hondas in my daily commute.
You can also get a used one between 1-1.5mil (4-5 years old)

How many Kms has it done starting to look a bit 'sat in' already or is there another reason for that?
What do you mean "sat in". Which picture are you talking about. one is mine the other is an internet picture.
This is mine
Do you think this looks "sat in"?
I think he means the 'stretched' or 'slack' portion of the leather in your car on the drivers seat pictured from the drivers side and not the ones you posted when the seats were first installed which is what I mentioned early on would happen since the leather wasn't tufted and the seats are not stiff enough for the leather that has been sewn over cloth seat padding..
This one;
I might also add that several members chastised me at the time for my being able to determine the firmness of the seats from a picture and make note of that but there you have it!
It's beginning already and it's going to pull the stitching out in short order as the stretching reaches it's limits..
Don't know about pic #2. It's from the internet/ My seats look the same as the day I got it.

the leather interior is so ugly.. A+ for blue cloth though.
maybe the poster is showing his age ? was blue cloth and blue leather not from cars of the 70's and 80's ?
same era Toyota and Opel's had red cloth
Yea. I don't know what age he is, but if he thinks blue cloth looks better than my all black leather (which he couldn't see completely because it was a steering wheel picture), he is dreaming. He prefers the blue and black cloth.

Im sure you under estimate the readership. Many posters here know each other, and have some fine rides. and houses. What they dont do ive noticed is talk about them. Most keep to Wifes Ride , Trucks and everyday stuff all can debate. Remember a Wise Man has no Enemies. Its most unpleasant to belittle others. Heres an Example . Renting a Cooper for a week is more than a Months Sallery for some.. Not very pleasant is it.?...
Teachers in thailand either buy mopeds or tin cans.

How does it defeat the purpose of owning one?
Who wants a truck as low as a passenger car? Ridiculous.

If you want to know what each of them have, go here

... Cruise control is useless in my commute...
Out of interest, I would like to know does the "CRUZE" actually have this feature?
Yes. LT and LTZ.
Another useless feature in Thailand I don't need.
Mine has a blank space there
As you can see, the CRUZE is the superior design
-
but I prefer the older one, looks-wise anyway, the split headlamps is such a classic Chevrolet look... This new one looks like a Captiva pickup...
I agree 100%, however a new T6 Ranger will be replacing my trusty steed very soon.
Ugly
I hate when people lower pickup trucks. Defeats the purpose of having one.
You might as well get an El Camino

Yea right. Everyone in forums is rich. I was reading another forum where one of the posters claimed to have worked for the NSA, and he had inside knowledge about the subject.
Anyway
Bottom line is this
Grab down there. Just reach down and grab a hand full of BALLS, if you have any
Then repeat after me
Chevrolet is coming to kick my ass. After that, all non- believers will be ball-less.
5555
I am not rich, if I was, I would go by private jet or copter, not drive myself for hours.
as for pickups, Chev as a company doesnt get my vote, neither does the colorado. Thus the Ford Ranger for me
hopefully in january as I am bored of tunas.
talking about balls, its heavy rain here in Phuket, my GF and I bored so sitting next to each other with our laptops, just hoping for a nice morning so we can play some ball on the beach
and here is our beach limo
beats any cruze, doesnt it
I've been to Phuket.
No it doesn't. A falang in a Thai townhouse driving a moped. How original.

Get off it.
If you can afford it, it's made in Thailand. Any car.

To be honest, it maybe that parts of it are not real 100% leather. But, who cares?
My deal was very similar to yours, but I still had to pay a bit. Anyway, they are very easy to clean and comfortable which is the reason why I chose them. It's very rainy and I didn't want it smelling "wet" like my City. The seats were disgusting.
Now I can spray a leather cleaner every weekend and the car smells great. I don't care if I got out of work and got soaked from one of those thai mini hurricanes.
That's basically why I got it. Easy to maintain. In 5 years, as you say, if the front seats get rough or all messed up, I will send them in and replace the leather. It will most likely be the 2 front seats.
In my car shopping, the best leather seats I saw were the ones in a top Toyota Camry Hybrid. It had all the options and it was almost 2 million baht. Those seats were all 100% the real deal. You could smell it as soon as you sat in there. They were perforated tan leather. and BTW, the Cruze that comes with leather doesn't smell like the Toyota Camry Hybrid with leather. So, it maybe that the LTZ is like that too. Part leather part synthetic (to keep the price down).
I saw the same car being sold used at the mall. I opened the door and the car smelled like sweat and ass, the seats were dirty (tan leather is the worse) and the seats were all cut up and wrinkled. The car was probably 2 years old or less.
So, 100% real or not, eventually seats will get fuc_ked up.
