Would love to have a COSTCO here in Thailand to shop , we have a branch near our home in Hokkaido which we go to about every 2 weeks , mainly to fill up the car with gasoline and kerosene for the heaters at home during these cold months. Favourite food shopping things we buy Kirkland brand Nut Butter , Salsa , Walnut & Fig Bread , Greek Yoghurt , Mixed Berries (Frozen) etc.. and the 🌭 of course ..the only problem we have with COSTCO is struggling to fit all the food we buy into the fridge when we get home and eating it all before the expiry date ...😂

Buy one of these , it will outlast you , we got ours as a wedding present in March 1986 and it is still going strong to this day and has never required any spare parts or repairs despite being used daily , completely mechanical , no pop-up feature , cuts off when timer spring unwinds , then keeps toast warm.

Just had my application for the DTV refused this morning at Savannakhet , reason being that they only accept bank statement from one’s home country showing 500k baht equivalent, Thai bank accounts NOT acceptable … I wish they would make these requirements public , just a heads up for anyone contemplating using Savannakhet , as I am sure this is a recent change that has not been made known…

Agree with what Upnotover posted above , at the time of posting the earliest available appointment is Friday 20th Dec. Beyond 20th December , slots open on a daily basis , there is no option to book further than 14 Days in advance. Each Day's quota is quickly taken up , when it becomes available , quite possibly due to agents block booking spots , so need to get online early ie. 07:00 to 08:00 to have any chance of getting an appointment. Hope this helps..

I can recommend MosBurger located in most of the big Shopping Malls in Bangkok , fast-food type of place , Japanese , cooked fresh-to-order and not tepid like McD , not too fancy or stacked , but really good for a fast-food set-up. The Green Tea and Cheeseburger are my go to every time I visit Bangkok.
