  1. It's not always possible, for example 3bb don't have a spam folder.
  2. Considering your own avatar, I wouldnt be surprised if this is your wife. Was she really angry at that moment
  3. Well to be honest, I bought this car 3 years ago and still have it, but for me it doesn't need it anymore. Its just a pick-up with a body on it and for the rest is it nothing. The automatic transmission doesn't shift smoothly at all. The suspension that would have been improved somewhat compared to the pick-up but it's not good at all. No, I dont need that car anymore.
  4. What also surprise me is that the Thai gold-price, which is of course linked to the Thai baht, remains so low compared to the international gold price.
  5. Oh, you think they deposit their money into a bank account? That would be very stupid, this is not a western country where you are almost forced to do everything through a bank.
  6. You'll have to think this way: 'how more laws how more corruption'
  7. Well, the last days i don’t visit a fast food restaurant but yesterday instead a fast food a ‘real’ restaurant. we eat with the whole family 6 adults and 2 children, nearly 20000 Thb, and after that still hungry. I have to tell you it was in the Netherlands with ridiculous prices.
  8. Adjustment of traffic lights is a disaster in LOS, on some stretches where hardly any traffic comes, they manage to leave a traffic light on red for 3 minutes without even a vehicle passing, that invites... I also see several intersections with 300-metre intervals where the traffic lights don't work in sync with the result that after the first traffic light has green, you have to stop at the next one again, that too is inviting.... And automatic adjustment through loops in the road surface they have never heard of either.
  9. Oh yes, for sure, I've been collecting it for more than 20 years, so there's no more losing it. More than 25 years ago, when I first came to Thailand, it was 5,000 Thb for 1 bath gold.
  10. It was about 4 weeks ago that everything pointed to the gold price in the USA going up, so I drove to the gold shop that Monday morning to buy gold for my Thai money And what turned out after the next day it only went down.
  11. Yes I know, and I'm awhare of this but here in Thailand the price is actually going down, and yes I know it is not 24 carats but it is still more or less linked to the international gold price.
  12. With the positive implication that the gold price should also go up, but it doesn't look like that.
  13. A pneumatic device should be used to force the lift door? Is there no way to unscrew the panels around the doors and easily unlock the mechanism? The maintenance that needs to be done to that mechanism regularly is really not going to be done from inside the lift car.
  14. As long as you are aware their IQ gives you no need to wonder if it can get any crazier. You can't even blame them.
  15. The only way to avoid income tax is to take your money with you in cash every time you arrive in the country by plane. But to have your assets, which you own in your home country, taxed by Thailand is of course hilarious and impossible, but yes TIT.
  16. It is actually pointless to respond to this, after all we know, but now invite the Thai.... Won't work for them, if it does they would have understood there themselves years ago.
  17. I share those experiences you have, I myself have been here since 1998, everything went fine did not have to work anymore. But then you get to an age where you've seen it all, even physically it gets harder, I'm nearly 80. Given that age you also don't do much any more, my main hobby was electronics but the lust has disappeared and I try to sell everything related to that, but that is difficult in LOS. But going back to the west...no way, next week I will go to europe for a month for family visits and necessary medicine. So it's a matter of sitting it out and trying to make what can be made of it.
  18. Asked the question to Anern itself today, as soon as I get antword I will post it here.
  19. Am convinced it was a company from nigeria with a prince as owner.
  20. Thanks, so it looks like it is possible. In case my ‘Must’ converters were to fail, I would not buy them again.
  21. You are absolutely right, as a Dutchman, I have seen 50 years of development of those so-called harmless drugs there and dare I say it is really not that harmless. But yes, try to make those foreigners here in Thailand understand that, you will only get angry and denying reactions expect because they are far too scared that it will be banned again.
  22. I am not surprised, saw this coming years ago. You cannot cut down unlimited trees on mountains and hills, then this is the logical consequence, but yes Logical and Thai....
  23. Can you also connect those Anern inverters in parallel? Can't find it in the description at Lazada.
