    Hello Ron, 

    I hope you don't mind me continuing your old music thread, i'm just a frustrated DJ who loves 60s and 70s rock.

     Actually I'm writing to you to ask about the policy of using photographs for commercial use from the photography forum.I'm looking for a cover for a book of mine about Thailand and it struck me I could well find one here. Is there any policy such as the Creative Commons  format in use here, ie acknowledging the source or is it a case of asking the particular photographer in question?

      Helo Bannork,

       

      I don't mind at all that you are continuing my 50s, 60s and 70s  music thread in fact I welcome it.

      I have had too many things on my plate to continue contributing to thread recently.

       

      As far as using photographs from the Thaivisa photography for commercial use, I have no problems using any of mine.

      There are far better photographers out there than I and my opinion is that at least courtesy should be shown by asking 

      the original poster for permission to use their image.

       

      Bear with me and I will ask the powers to be in Thaivisa what the official line is.
