I went to the Jomtien immi office to extend my non-immi O visa this week. The IO said I needed a letter from a court in BKK. I showed him what I thought was the letter, a one sentence, 5 line letter. He said it was incorrect. Is there anyone who might be so kind as to translate the letter I have through PM? A new letter would cost me 20K THB! Thanks in advance

I can't seem to post this, as I can't "Select Forum" for some reason, so I'll tag on here: A friend of mine, currently in the States, has held a Permanent Residency Permit for 6-7 years. He did everything in BKK and seems he is registered in his lawyers yellow book as living there. He is moving to Pattaya when he moves back in January. Does he have to permanently do business on at BKK immi? Does he have to somehow change his official residence now to his PTY residence (yellow book to blue book?). Can Jomtien do the yearly report or does he always have to return to CW in BKK? He also needs a new driver's license. Can/must he do that in Pattaya, which is where he will live from now on?
