I have been here many years and have not heard of this requirement.
I have had many renewals and almost always from a different address, no one at the DLT ever mentioned anything.
Interesting report (or maybe advertorial?), will give some of those a try.
My research so far gives me these, in my personal preference order:
1. STAX Burger - Asoke
2. Beast & Butter - Thing Lo
3. Easy Burger - OnNut (next to Cheap Charlies and Phrom Phong
4. Smizzle Burger - near K Village
5. Prime Burger - many
6. Rose Lane Burger - Phra Kanong
I have heard many great things about Beef Cheese Bun, a food-stall at Suk Soi 48, but am yet to try
Maybe soi 26? Tel 0971292922
Many thanks to the Op @cliveshep for starting this thread, very useful, sensible and probably timely for many of us, a good call-to-action to dedicate some thought and action to this delicate subject.
Some very useful responses, info and links.
Specifically happy with the link to Amar Retatriations, the idea of pre-paying for the cremation is perfect, takes a lot of burden off of grieving f&f.
The term AI is so horribly overused at present, as Blockchain was a couple of years ago.
This activity seems more about CCTV than AI, nowhere is it explained what the AI part is doing. I suggests that the AI is doing analysis of whether a crime has taken place, but it is not clear...
This bit sounds like 'manpower' more than 'AI'... 'These images, along with the vehicle registration details, were sent to the City Law Enforcement Office to track down the owners for fines'.
Quote:
"Responding to a distress call, law enforcement officials arrived promptly at the condo'
"The officers estimated that she had been dead for approximately two hours before they arrived at the scene"

I fly into BKK between 2 and 5 times each month, Immig varies every single time, depends on the time of day, the flights that came in just before you, day of week, how many Immig officers called in sick that day, etc etc, it's pot-luck...
I know of a small rental company that does long-term rentals. Nong: nongthatphon11 AT gmail.com
Not sure if they deal in the 3-4 mio THB type cars, I think mostly Toyota and Honda models.
I use a barber in ThongLo, 120 Baht, been that price for at least the last two years, and 100 Baht for a shave. Same price for all customers. Further up the road, one of the trendy actor-owned branches charges 460 baht for a cut.
I assume that to make these effective, then the doors and windows must be kept closed? I imagine if not then you are in a never ending process of new dirty air coming in?
I ask as I like the idea, but live in a condo and have the balcony doors open all day (screens closed though...).
I have been using the dental clinic in Samitivej Hospital, in Sukhumvit Soi 49, for a couple of years now, after poor or expensive service in some of the places mentioned above.
I have been very satisfied with the work and pricing (general check-up's, one Root Canal etc).
