This poor beggar...Can't someone find him a wheelchair?
Why is he reduced to crawling on his stomach? Couldn't he remain stationary and still come across the thousands of pedestrians along Sukhumvit anyway?
Any insight on this?

Family Marts in the Sukhumvit area don't observe this ridiculousness...

Chang. A glass or four of whiskey on the rocks late in the night. Not too picky with what brand.

Your humble apology is accepted.
Next time I head down to On Nut, my driver will knock be looking for you

Same-same.

I spent two months in Puerto Vallarta. It pales in comparison to LOS. And the whole time I was there, I was only thinking of Bangkok.

OP, grow a pair.
Beer, wine, hard liquor, champagne = same-same. -
An excellent show, LOCKED UP ABROAD.
Coincidentally, the Bankok episode is by far my personal favorite... -
And how the hell did I forget to mention my favorite bond flick, FOR YOUR EYES ONLY?!?
I blame the beer for that...

Do your Bond homework, mate!
Miss Galore is from GOLDFINGER...

Roger Moore, hands down. Tons of one-liners, exotic locations, excellent music (for those times), a gentleman to boot with a real knack for the ladies.
Excellent villains, my personal favorites being LIVE AND LET DIE, OCTOPUSSY, THE SPY WHO LOVED ME, & A VIEW TO A KILL, not necessarily in that order.
The only Connery flick I enjoyed was DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER, and yes, my mom is from Scotland but never liked him slapping women around.
As for Tim Dalton, the first ten minutes of THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS are excellent. After those ten minutes, I lost a lot of interest in the franchise.
Ok! Enough from me!

I think white men in general (and I am white and proud to be white) have stood up for themselves to the point that as adults, we can take care of ourselves and "have our shit together."
If there is another white male looking bad in any way, shape, or form, it is a sign of weakness. I think the problem is his problem to deal with.
While this may not be a positive way to look at this issue, I think it is realistic.

In Sukhumvit / Pattaya / elsewhere, for that "special" someone...?

If I wanted a taxi or a tailored suit or counterfeit goods...I would ask for it.

When do you suppose this will pass, the curfew is lifted, and the nightlife returns to "normal" in BKK?
And to those "high and mighty" jerkoffs who judge the fun party crowd, go read a book or do whatever lame thing it is you do before you act condescending to others.

I saw an Eminem cover band at Hilary Bar on Soi 4 & they were darn good...
I also saw an older guy at Bamboo Bar on Soi 3 belting out classic 80s stuff like Sting and the Police...
Good thing the Changs and whiskeys were flowing, too!

"Happy New Year" by China Dolls will fit the bill...

Stumble in drunk. Look in the mirror.
Exit premises. Breathe exhaust fumes. Ignore aggressive taxis, tuk tuks, touts, Indians.
No luck yet? Self reflect. Self reflect again.
If that does not work, an 11th floor balcony could be the cure.

Those with boots on the ground:
Curious as to how this present situation is affecting:
a. Nightlife
b. Liquor sales
c. Sukhumvit
d. Teaching English
e. None of the above
Keep "safe" in the meantime. Most input (definitely not ALL), is appreciated.
