  1. For a government that wants to drive growth, improve productivity, and spread wealth creation, defence is one of the cornerstones of a new industrial strategy," Healey emphasized. The grift continues. I don’t see any country posting a military threat against the UK. Who in their right minds would want to militarily occupy such a rotten society. The threat, if any, is economic and in that respect, Britain has lost out long ago.
  2. Still unable to explain what you have against communism as a form f governance. I guess your playschool have only taught you about a single colour.
  3. You are confusing economics and forms of governance with political and militaristic ambitions of megalomaniacal leaders and despots. That explains why most of your posts are rather free of content. Best go back to your colouring book. I hear King Charles rather likes your favourite colour too.
  4. Heard in directly from Putin’s mouth in either an interview he gave or a press conference he held. Can’t remember the source. Even if I could find it, it probably won’t be an approved source on AN as it conflicts with the western narrative. I’m sure you have heard this Putin’s claim before.
  5. I see you’re back with more of your content free posts. You never did answer my question as to why you are so against Marxism, communism. I guess it’s because such a discourse requires a minimum level of intelligence and education beyond owning a single colour crayon set.
  6. Of course your proposal is an alternative but the chances of Russia accepting this is a big fat zero. Ukraine is not exactly having the upper hand in this conflict currently. The winning side is the side that usually dictates the terms. I assume that you realise this? An alternate narrative, hmmm. This is the first time I have come across this view. From listening to learned scholars like Jeffrey Sachs and John Mearsheimer and lots of others, my understanding is that Putin had no issue with Ukraine being part of the EU but Nato was a red line. Nevertheless, you are entitled to your point of view. The current situation is of the west’s and Zelensky’s own making, though for different reasons.
  7. Nope. 1 Russian casualty for every 5 Ukrainian casualties. If you think it’s the other way, I have many bridges to sell you.
  8. Not really. The other condition mentioned was that Ukraine withdraws its troops from the 4 oblasts. That’s why I wrote “negotiations start from there” with regards to the commitment of not joining NATO. Ukraine The US could always counter with saying the troops will stay where they are for now. You do know how negotiations work, right? I can’t believe how foolish Ukraine is to think that they will ever be able to join nato. Even Radek “thank you USA (for sabotaging the pipeline)” Sikorsky has said that Ukraine will only ever join after it wins the conflict. If Ukraine thinks that’s even remotely possible, many bridges will be sold to them. Admittedly, they do need many…
  9. Wow. That would mean that Ukraine has lost about 360,000 troops in the same period. No wonder the article mentions a crippling shortage of manpower for Ukraine.
  10. If Ukraine was run by Nazis, eradicating them would be a good idea, wouldn’t it? You said yourself you would be speaking another language if Hitler hadn’t been stopped, by among others, the Russians. Every Russian flight leaving for Thailand is paying for Putins war. ???? Seems like you don’t have a good any grasp of economics. You mean you’ve never heard of the World Series? What are you, still in kindergarten? GIYF.
  11. If that’s what you think, you obviously have very little grasp of international affairs lol
  12. Simple. Ukraine commits to remaining neutral, ie not join NATO. Negotiations starts from there. Putin has said he will immediately, within one minute, order a halt. I didn’t know that Thailand is helping to fund Russia but it wouldn’t surprise me as the global majority sees what’s really happening and backing the good guy. I really have to laugh when some posters talk about Russia being isolated on the international stage. This so called stage actually consists of just 40 or so countries and about 20-30%of the world’s population. Much like some country calling a sports competition World Series when only a handful of countries are participating. Hubris, as normal.
  13. The SMO was started when the west continuously ignored Russia’s warnings and redlines, thinking that a “weak” Russia would have no choice but to just accept the farcical rules based international order. And you call others naive… lol.
  14. He’s a product of a hubristic western society that thinks they can do whatever they want without the intelligence to realise the consequences
  15. 17% is a lot more than Putin expected as occupying Ukraine was never and still isn’t one of his objectives, in spite of the false narratives pushed by western media and leaders. I won’t blame him for not returning it though as it acts as a buffer zone and would go some way towards offsetting the 300 billion they are trying to steal. As for the Russian people having enough of him, the overwhelming majority supports him as evidenced by the recent election. He will likely go down in Russian history as one of their greatest leaders. Increasing productivity, GDP, growing economy, emerging as a global leader, at a time when the west is either stagnated or falling into a recession.
  16. 100k sounds about right. Russia vs Ukraine casualty statistics are around 1:5 Zelensky shouldn’t have listened to BoJo.
  17. Make Vlad feel like a man, most powerful man on Earth. Instill fear in his enemies This is too funny. Projection if course. Proof? The wide range of other brutal acts including 3-ton glide bombs on civilian towns and cities along the front with nary a thought of warning inhabitants Videos of 3-ton glide bombs I’ve seen show them hitting what were formerly civilian buildings but now houses militarily units. No normal civilian in their right mind would still be living in towns and cities on the front lines.
  18. Since when did you start believing Russian media? Oh yes, when it suits your narrative.
  19. I won’t. Israel is 10 times worse. Hypocritical western minds will of course disagree.
  20. This is what I got from Wikipedia Israel has occupied the Palestinian territories and the Golan Heightssince the Six-Day War of 1967. It previously occupied the Sinai Peninsula and southern Lebanon as well. Just asking for a friend.
  21. Wasn’t Israel the original aggressor, occupying Palestine lands, a few decades ago?
  22. The EU and its leaders have lost the plot. They have dug themselves so deep they don’t know how to get out. This conflict is damaging their economies and with each package of sanctions, they are isolating themselves more and more from the global majority. No one to blame but themselves for accepting vassal state status. One by one, all those who have hugged the man in green is being kicked out of power. The dancing queen, Rutte, Sunak. Macron, Biden, Scholz following soon?
  23. Yes, sad isn’t it? As Kissinger supposedly once said, “to be America’s enemy is dangerous, to be America’s ally is fatal”. Lindsey Graham considers this money well spent. Poor Ukraine.
  24. Only a western imperialistic mind could have come up with such a hypocritical post. But for the last 1000 years, Vietnam successfully retained its sovereignty in spite of Chinese aggression and a few wars. Vietnam became a French colony in 1877 with the founding of French Indochina, which included Tonkin, Annam, Cochin China and Cambodia. (Laos was added in 1893.) The French lost control of their colony briefly during World War II when Japanese troops occupied Vietnam It’s also interesting that the wests’ major ally in Asia is another well known imperialistic nation, probably the only one. It's not about hope. it's about defending family, home, and culture, The political impact of colonialism led to persecution, and imprisonment of those who opposed the French colonial regime. The cultural impact of colonialism introduced Western culture to Vietnam, resulting in the decline of traditional cultural practices and values. Hypocrisy, anyone?
