Reality is that there is almost always 2 sides to an argument, both of which may be true, depending on your perspective, bias and prejudices. My whole life, I have grown up thinking the west is a beacon of truth and honour and there are many truthful and honourable people, no doubt. But I have also seen with my own eyes the hypocrisy, deception, hubris, propaganda, pure lies and interference of many western nations. I have listened to experts on both sides of the debate and I have arrived at my own conclusions, much like you have. Just because our conclusions differ doesn’t make us one more right than the other.

The original rationale behind the Monroe Doctrine is irrelevant. Fact is that America uses this as an argument to prevent other great forces from having influence in the western hemisphere yet it happily does just that all over the world. Hypocrisy at its finest. One of the reasons why more and more of the global majority is turning away from it.

I said there is no proof that NK has sent troops to fight with the Russians in Ukraine. I also provided an approved, credible, pro-Ukrainian link to where the Pentagon and NATO said as much. Terms like conscripted slave soldiers and slave labour are just nonsense western propaganda so not worth responding to. Russia and NK has signed an agreement to come to each other’s aid if either country is under attack. Ukrainian forces, comprising of mercenaries as well, entered into Russia in the Kursk region. Did Russia ask for NK’s aid to repel the invaders? Possibly. Did NK offer to send soldiers to help Russia drive out the invaders? Possibly. Or maybe NK is taking advantage of a hot conflict in Kursk to send its officers to the frontlines to observe and learn how modern warfare is being conducted in case SK decides one day to invade NK. At this moment, it’s all speculation, driven by some SK intelligence assessment that has apparently, according to a certain British Professor who is an expert in these matters, been “spectacularly wrong” in the past, and “supported “ by a video of some soldiers somewhere getting ready to go somewhere. Hardly evidence but I guess some are so desperate that they are willing to clutch at straws.

If Ukraine is a member of NATO, Putin would probably not have started his SMO as he doesn’t want a war with NATO. The reason he started it is to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO as this would be an existential threat to Russia. The reason that Ukraine now wants expedited entry into NATO is because it’s losing the conflict badly, something which the msm will not tell you. Finland joining NATO is unfortunate for him but also for Finland as it now has to spend more on defence as well as lose some of its sovereignty by having to allow NATO military bases on its soil. It has also unnecessarily put itself into a more dangerous situation. As for the truth of what’s happening, why don’t you enlighten us a bit more?

Maybe they will and maybe they will. You don’t have a clue nor do I. But I don’t make up fantastical statements. The west has a narrative that it needs to push, to justify continuing a losing course of action. I don’t believe Mark Rutte either but there are times when they know that they can only push so far. I believe it’s called expediency but I could be wrong as English is not my native language. As for more meat for Ukrainian guns? If Ukraine is killing so many Russians and their allies, why the desperation to join NATO or wanting nuclear weapons? This is what happens when you only believe approved, credible sources. You don’t realise truth of what’s happening.

Thanks for responding. In my view, you have a rather simplistic view of the world. Ukraine didn’t attack another country, that’s true (although some will argue that their attacks on ethnic Russians in Eastern Ukraine constitutes an act of war but we are not discussing that here). Have you heard of the Munro Doctrine? Did Cuba attack USA? Free choices aren’t really free. Actions have consequences and NATO trying to get Ukraine into it have merely resulted in the demise of Ukraine. In your mind, Russia is a monster murderer. In the minds of many others, the west and especially that country across the pond is a monster murderer. They are entitled to their opinion, same as you are entitled to yours. Just because you believe it doesn’t mean it’s true.

From the article; Prof Hazel Smith, a leading UK expert on North Korea at SOAS University, advised caution over Seoul’s claim that special forces could soon be deployed to Ukraine. She noted that some of its previous intelligence assessments had turned out to be “spectacularly wrong.” And there you have it lol

I'm sure there are materials and equipment from all over the world. North Korean, Chinese, Iranian, European, maybe even British and American. It's a lucrative business after all. You said you are willing to answer questions. Are you being paid to fight for Ukraine? If not, are some of the others from countries you've mentioned like Columbia, Georgia etc?

Asian looking soldiers getting Russian uniforms mean just that - Asian looking soldiers getting Russian uniforms. They could be from Central Asian Stan countries. That's not proof that NK soldiers are fighting for Russia. For all we know, they could be mercenaries. You yourself have confirmed mercenaries fighting for Ukraine. What's good for the goose is also good for the gander, isn't it? I don't see what the problem is and why this should be a red line (other than as a desperate move by the west).

??? It seems like the losses that Ukraine is taking in both troops and territories is scrambling your brain. Who is this "you all know each other" and what is this troll factory in SPB?

When all one has left is the Hope strategy, denial is the only way to keep the strategy going.

Some people claim that Russia is not part of Europe so your comparison of Russian life expectancy compared to other countries in Europe is flawed. On so called doctor claims that Russians are mongols in heart and soul so you should be comparing them to Asian countries. As for what Russians dream of, neither you nor I know as neither of us are Russians.

Illegal to change lanes on a bridge?
Gweiloman replied to BadCash's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Like I said, lucky you. I’ve paid multiple “not close enough to the left kerb” fines whilst on my bike, including once when I had to overtake a parked truck. This particular so called breach doesn’t apply to cars, just bikes. Another time, I had to pay a “too far to the right “ fine. This took place on Siloam Rd, at the multiple intersection directly in front of the police station. Poor guy behind me suffered the same fate. Worse, he left the station forgetting his ID. They also tried to pull me over on my big bike even though I was fully helmeted, jacketed and booted. I decided to ignore them that instance and rode straight on. Bikers have plenty of tea money incidents. Motorists tend not to have as many. -

You’ve been driving in BKK for the past 30 years and never paid a “fine”? Lucky you. By any chance, do you ride a bike as well?
