... true, dry af up here, 50% tops and down to 37% when hottest. Minimal to no mozzies as well, quite unusual for this time oty. A good 38⁰ in da crib though, just as outside right now where it reached 41⁰ earlier today. I'm fine with a fan but do indeed prefer AC for nights rest these days ... -

Ukraine War: Using drugs to combat war trauma In Ukraine, the war is leading to a rethinking of psychotherapy: illegal substances such as ecstasy or so-called psychedelics are intended to provide support. USA: ... But the lobby for the use of drugs in psychotherapy is growing, especially in the USA. The supporters have a powerful ally: the organizations of war veterans of the US armed forces. The U.S. government's Department of Veterans Affairs also supports the use of MDMA in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In fact, experts expect such a therapy to receive approval for the first time in 2024. https://www-dw-com.translate.goog/de/ukraine-krieg-mit-drogen-gegen-kriegstraumata/a-67284993?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp ( =>link should directly translate to EN ...) -

What can/should be done about the yaba crisis in Thailand?
jollyhangmon replied to jvs's topic in General Topics
... exactly, bus & lorry drivers, construction workers, the one or other pilot ... you name it. Also far from just a 'recreational use' problem alone that stuff, Japan for example had a massive amphetamine crisis stretching long after WWII during which it was used freely - as it was in plenty other countries btw. - and at that time the surplus war stockpiles hit the market ... -

... yes, absolutely, experience matters as it will positively affect other factors pointed out by others ... Been growing my own stuff here on & off for 20yrs plus and you would be surprised how good local stuff can be even if grown from seeds outta some rather unimpressive brickweed IF taken care properly (*) both while been grown as well as cured. (**) Personally I prefer what's left of the local landraces & grown under da sun, maybe an early own cross - as far as 'bouquet' goes, not necessarily strenght of course. (*) now, the 'take care properly' part covers a wide area here, just for example there where seasons with way smaller but also much better potted outdoor plants compared to the ones grown directly in the ground just because I was able to get them under a roof during heavy repeated thunderstorms/rain avoiding damage and mold, possibly using a fan when chicas were in advanced bloom already ... etc. ... (**) ... the curing part seems to be absent entirely here most of the time IMHO ...
