Arrival upon swampy, anyone has been checked their luggage? My friends always go through smoothly. Perhaps I'm unlucky. The staff ask me to put through my bag to scan during my last trip to LOS. This time round I'm bringing 2 big bag with lots of stuff. Some Chinese dried food as well. Is it allow? And during scanning, does they really able to see our cash (I mean in the hand carry bag and know exactly?) Has anyone got his cash confiscated because of the amount limit (did not declare) or other reasons. What is the outcome? Any true experience, would to share?

Don't keep your cash in your checked in baggage. They don't care about your Chinese dried food, only looking for drugs. I was asked to put my bag through the scanner only once in all my trips to Thailand. Took a second and then I asked if I should put my backpack through as well and the guy said no and waved me off.

I mean the cash in hand carry luggage? The last time I went, nearly passing through ,the guy ask me to put all my bags through the machine for scanning. Zzz..... Will they able to see exactly how much cash in my bag? I'm just worried

I heard there is a wet market near chonburi and pattaya. There are also house land near pattaya but probably a little bit secluded to the far out side. Wondering how much will it be? Totally not sure, it would be good if I have some ans from online. Thanks

I saw comments about farm land. Heard the price has not gone down. Instead it's going up every year. How about house land? Will it be the same? Usually how much will it go up? Has anyone know? What do you want to own a gun for?!

I heard there are some requirement for foreigner to own a pistol. If let say my Thai wife instead bought a gun and something happen at my residency (robbery,housebreaking) I am the one who shot down the bad guy with the gun registered under my wife name. Will I instead offend any Thai laws? Or is there any special case scenario getting me acquitted? Under what circumstances can I use that gun? Not sure about the regulations. Pls advise. Thanks

I've had one on order since before xmas (and yes, I did know about the factory being all but wiped out in the floods). We were told to expect it around about now, which was then put back to the beginning of June, which has now become the end of June/beginning of July. Fingers crossed.
