As a newly retired expat, there are so many different interpretations of all the rules it depends on whoever you are dealing with. I have been here in Thailand for 15 Years now and apart from the very odd time I have had to show my driving licence, I have never been asked for any ID, and that's me walking and driving all round Bangkok and Pattaya etc.

Thanks for the information, it's not a ThinkPad, it is just an ordinary android tablet which cost about 5000Bt, also, repairs at your location, that's fine if you live in a city, but up in the Boonies, in my town/village there is only one computer shop, I don't imagine him doing anything under someone elses warranty.

The wide screen has now just returned, instead of clicking on VLC video player, I clicked on OPEN when the wide screen came up, there is a square with 5 options in the bottom right hand corner, all I do is click on Zoom To Fill, then I get my whole screen filled. This system had suddenly stopped, the square disappeared, this was about 2 months ago. I tried it again and the square just re appeared. There is just no explanation for this.

I took my Lenovo tablet for issues under the warranty to their head place at fortune town and was told there would be no one to look at it for five days.

I have noticed that the baht strengthens whenever the Cvirus statistics go up and weakens when things improve a bit, things are easing off a little bit now, so the baht is getting stronger.
