In big C today (Mon), I could not even get a can of beans, the attendants did not even know what beans were. I used by translate app and each attendant kept taking me to different parts of the store. I know what shelf the cans of bean should be at. I ended up getting them at Lotus.

Yes, but as you will know about the difference on the roads between then in England and today in Thailand. When I started driving as a teenager, I bought a cheap minivan took it to the industrial estate and practised driving although I knew how to drive to start with, I then started driving without a license for a few months then took 5 driving lessons to learn how to pass the test.

I have always tried my to respect other posters opinions even if I don't agree with them, but in this case I cannot. I am very surprised so many farangs think it is OK for parents to hand their ten year olds the keys to their motorbikes to ride on public roads. The posters who live in places like Bangkok, ChangMai, Pattaya may not see that but here up country it is an epidemic. Reading through this thread it must be noticed how many sad and confused emoticans I have received for complaining about underage motorbike riders. The posters responsible know who they are. Very sensible post. I have not raised my voice to any Thai's, not even my wife, but she is very highly educated and clever, except for an immigration officer, and that was only in retaliation to his attitude to me. He's not going to give me a thumping. I have stopped lot's of them both men and women from jumping in front of me in a queue without shouting, I just put my arm in front of them, as experience has taught me to always watch for them. I know I said I would shout back at them, but I have changed my mind on that.

Maybe if insurance companies would be less greedy and stop all the legal jargon nonsense and stick to plain English and their wording all the same size and stop looking for excuses not to pay out, people would not be so inclined to take chances and just skip insurance altogether.

Certainly not the case of the key cutter, I have been in the shop a few times over the last two years never wearing a mask and never a problem. besides if they want me to wear a mask all they have to do is point at their mouth.

If the guy in the key shop had just said no or mai mee in a normal voice and did not wave his arms about there would have been no problem.

Richard, if they never had that type of key all he had to say was No have, or Mai mee, there was no need for all these dramatics. his voice was raised immediately. At the phone shop I did not even have the chance to tell them what I wanted.

There wasn't any, I just went in the same as any other customer would, just showed the guy the key I wanted cut, just the same as before when their was a lady assistant. In the other instance this bitch just started before I even opened my mouth. No, I had my fat belly sticking out and not wearing a shirt to cover my big titties.????
