TM30 Online - reporting yourself as the tenant
Sheryl replied to bbi1's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Technically it is, but it is the expat renter who will suffer the consequences if not done. Including the fine. And yes, some owners are lazy to do it; others have no idea about it. -

I haven't seen a single report of Jomtien refusing to accept an online TM30, have you? -
Exactly

Tamsulosin can also be taken alone, and is a definite alternative to doxazosin. May also be cheaper. Severe drop in BP is less common (bt still occurs in some people) with tamsulosin than with doxazosin

More likely the (temporary) effects of the radiotherapy. Can cause nausea/queasiness and defintely causes fatigue/general "icky" feeling. ALso clouded thinking. These last 2 are usually linked to drops in blood ocunt. It is important to see your doctor again if weakness etc increases for a repeat blood count even if last count was normal and not yet due for another test. I have seen patient's blood counts take a very sudden nose drive. There are treatments that can be given for this.

Not only is it safer to get MRI firts, but the odds of a biopsy finding cancer if it is present, is greater. A biopsy samples only a small amount of prostate tissue and in early prostate cancer it is entirely possible for biopsy to be negative simply because the sample was nto taken from the right spot.

My wifi is far from the best but I have had no problems with my Firestick. TV is on same floor as the router, though. Maybe 15 meters from it in a straight line.
-
You are only liable if you violate contract terms, and most contracts have provision for giving notice to leave. What does your specific contract say on that point?

Easily done, Amazon Firestick. I wasted money on a TCL "smart" TV and then, due to numerous bugs, switched to using the Firestick. Not just as good, better (in the case of TCL Smart TVs anyhow). Got mine on Lazada.

Plenty of renters on this board have successfully registered on, and used, the online TMN30 system. Which is not operated by provincial IOs. And specifically recognizes different categories of reporters, nto just owners. First I am hearing of Jomtien asking for new TM30 after every trip. And certainly contrary to official Immigration order on the subject. But ,soem IOs still do this.

@ultramarine As other poster said, the Extended Release tablets cannot safely be cut!!! Locally made Pencor comes in 1mg tablets. Are you on any other medications (especially for BP or heart)? As this makes a difference. It is sometimes necessary to reduce BP and/or cardiac med dosages when taking doxazosin and similar meds. Also note interactions with ED meds.

Best to ask a broker, preferrably one very family with April International. I use https://www.aoc-insurancebroker.com/

Last I heard, the o nly government hospitals in Thailand doing this were Siriraj (the first and probably the best for this), Chulalongkorn and maybe (not 100% sure) Chulabhorn. None outside Bangkok. Among private hospitals, also AFAIK limited to Bangkok. I would also mention that there is better expertise for management in Bangkok if the MRI suggests malignancy. And that urologists not trained in it would have difficulty using multi-parametric MRI results.

The surgery described is a lumbar fusion. It may be possible to avoid this in favor of minimally invasive approaches like endoscopic decompression and/or discectomy but you would need to discuss that with a surgeon skilled in such techniques. I had endoscopic lumbar decompression in 2021 and can attest to the fact that recovery is quite swift, as no muscles or tendons are cut through. Do not have this surgery upcountry, full stop. Spinal surgery is highly specialized. There are some international-caliber, up to date spinal surgeons in Thailand but just a handful and only in Bangkok. The very, very best is Prof. Wicharn at BNH hospital https://www.bnhhospital.com/search-doctor/entry/4093/ He operated on my sister twice (cervical then lumbar spine) and I have since referred a large number of people to him, all with excellent results. Even if you are still on the fence as to whether to have surgery, he would also be the one to ask and it is worth the trip just to discuss with him, his judgement is excellent and his answers clear and to the point. He will completely disregard the MRI report in favor of his own reading of the actual scan so be sure to have it (and any Xrays) on disc to bring with you. Prolapsed discs will usually retract on their own eventually, and do not necessarily need surgical intervention. However if your spinal degeneration has resulted in insufficient space for nerve roots to exit the spine, that will nto only not improve with conservative measures but likely get worse with time so IF that is the case surgery is advisable, but might be possible using less invasive approach - that is a complex judgement call and I would totally trust Prof. Wicharn's judgement in that regard.

First try other banks in your area as sometimes it varies. In some cases they might agree if you have a friend or spouse with account with them who can "recommend" you. If not, , many other AN members have used an agent to open bank account in that situation as indeed it is otherwise a Catch-22. https://aseannow.com/topic/1293525-agents-to-open-bank-account/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1312624-recommended-agents-to-open-a-bank-account-in-bangkok/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1282832-agent-wanted-to-open-bank-account/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1293525-agents-to-open-bank-account/page/2/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1308908-opening-bank-account/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1292317-open-thai-bank-account/

I don't remember exactly but it wasn't long. -
Kasikorn will automatically send you credit advance by email (pdf document) each time money is received if you sign up for that, which can be done by phone to the call center. Very easy. Maybe BBK does too, not sure, as I bank with Kasikorn. They also send me every month a detailed statement. Which is very convenient since by the time i get to the bank tarnsactions are often grouped together. And as Dr. Jack said, no 50K limit. I don't know if there is any limit at all. I used to perodically transfer in 800K with no problem other than the bank sometimes calling and asking a few routine questions (Source of funds? Purpose?). After US SS started direct international transfers to Thailand I now get 70 - 80 (maybe 90 if I'm really lucky with the exchange rate) transferred in every month. No issue at all. (and no questions for that lower amount).

You are notified by email when your registration is accepted. -
they have never said they do. AFAIK there has been no change to reporting requirements, which remain that you do nto need to file if you owe no taxes (i.e. have AI below 210k). Last thing the RD would want is an onslaught for re4turns from people owing no tax. Huge workload for them to no benefit. It is expats on this forum who keep speculating about a requirement to file even if no tax owed.

The documents listed are for hotels etc not for private residences. This iste is most heavily used by hotels etc. Disregard. When I registered I uploaded my yellow tabian ban, Thai pink ID card, Passport. Not sure but I think some without these have been able to register with rental agreement. What I am not sure of, is whether they also needed to upload pix of landlord tabian ban. -
Whatever else you do, lay off the activities that trigger the pain until you have healed. Listen to your body. When I had my issue I tried knee supports, didn't seem to make much difference that I recall. If you wan to see a knee specialist Dr. Panya at Bumrungrad is tops. And will not recommend unnecessary treatments.

I wasn't responding to you nor referring to anyone who is diabetic or pre-diabetic. I was responding to prior posts about a trend of non-diabetics with no health issues doing CGM simply because they want to know how their body reacts to different foods. Which is way over the top IMO. If you were pre-diabetic then by defintition your Hb1Ac would not have been "well within normal range".

I had a similar problem and switched to Stiebel, pretty sure DHC 8EC but cannot confirm as I'm away from home now. I discussed with Stiebel first about my needs and they made specific recommendation, you can contact directly on their website and they respond . Since making that switch, no problems at all. I do see a difference on the coldest days in that I have to turn the heater up more than usual (on warmer days the higher setting s are way too hot) but at higher setting works just fine even on coldest days. These are good machines.

Yes, but Dee Money will only do fairly small transfers at a time, OP indicates it is large sum
