You could try Bupa Blue Cross. Not sure on the residency thing though.

Check out Thailand's Ladies Volleyball team at the A|sian Volleyball Championship. Having already beaten Japan once, and now China (the #1 team), they may have a rematch with Japan in the next stage of the championship, or South Korea for the #1 spot.

It is a shortage. After the tax increase on 4th September, the beer companies have stopped bottling beer as anything after that date is liable for the tax increase.. The beer companies are challenging the government as to who should incur the increased taxes whether the distributor, or the breweries themselves.. As a bar manager all I can say is it is making my life extremely difficult.. Importers are also slowing down on release of stock due to the tax increase..
You will find over the coming months import draught beer getting very expensive (by possibly as much as 30%) as the new taxes apply by Litre.
Thanks for that. Makes things a lot clearer. Also runs true to what the lady in my shop was trying to explain.
Back home (UK), this would never happen. Government tax the drinks companies, the drinks companies up there sale price, therefore the retailer ups their price. Easy! TIT.

I too have noticed this, so I asked the lady that runs the little shop where I live in Lat Phrao 101. In her best English, yes she does speak some, she said that it is all to do with the retailers not wanting to buy new stock at present.
I can only assume it is all related to the price increase and them holding old priced stock, therefore coining in on the increase before replenishing. So, charging you the new price for the old stock and when they have no stock they can possibly get a discount on the new price for a baulk buy.

Hi, I have a friend who works at this school, music department and another friend who worked there for 2-3 years.
Now, whether the fees are reasonable I could not say.
Hope this is helpful. I also think that it is the only private international school in the Pattaya area, please correct me if wrong.

Sounds suspicious to me.

It would seem that tempers are very frayed at present, in LOS.

If you are working on a Non-B visa and have a valid passport and work permit, I do not understand why you are doing a 90 day boarder run. Maybe you should pop along to the immigration office in Phuket and see what they actually want you to do. I used to live and work at a school in Si Sa Ket and never had to do a boarder run for the 90 day report.

Cheers guys, I will try both suggestions and get back to you, on whether it worked.

Sorry, wrong info. Ubuntu 12.04 as installed with Wubi and it is on the C drive along with Win7, not on an external.
-
Hi all!
I am having issues installing required drives for hardware on my dual boot notebook. I have Ubuntu 12.10 installed on an external hard drive and Win7 on my C drive.
Is there any Linux/Ubuntu guru's in Bangkok, that would not mind helping me out, but in person please? As one issue is that my internet connection on the Ubuntu OS keeps dropping out every 20-30 seconds. PM me if you need more details.
Cheers in advance.

And tomorrow there will be a retraction of these words, or something along those lines.
-
So, is BKK on that list? Bet it ain't. Did they not get a report done many years ago, by the Dutch, on how to resolve this issue?
-
Hahahaha! Someone obviously got their bottom slapped.

You can also email the customer services, I did about some issues with my internet, and had a response within 24 hrs in English.
So, I then thought about asking for DOICS (no DOICS in my area at present), so I asked about special deals for internet and TV, same again email back within 24 hours.

Say it as you see it, Terdsak, think about it and then say it again. This idea is full of it.

My missus (Thai) said to me, only yesterday, that general food prices in Thailand are getting more and more expensive. I said yep. Finally, we both agree on something within LOS. ;-)

I like the idea and that the Thai's now understand there is a problem. However, will it work in the favour of the tourist or the BiB. Lets see. I wait in hope.

It's not a serious ban or more Saudis would end up paying the penalty (if there even is one) after they arrive back home with their passports stamped 'Thailand.'
A large number of Saudis go to Thailand for medical treatment. They generally go as a family group. If the males were just looking for prostitutues, they can always go to Bahrain where the bizness caters to their specific cultural requirements.
Been to Bahrain and seen it with my own eyes, the drinking, eating bacon/pork and the womanising. All things I believe they are not allowed to do in Saudi, hence they probably fly to LOS just for a difference from Bahrain.

Drew Barrymore and other child instant stars, springs to mind, did anyone in the relevant governments help them?
I do hope she gets well soon, but instant fame does do strange things to the individuals involved.

How long before he warned about closure of his bank accounts, to then be able to move it all out? Hahahah Amazing Thailand.

I have always smiled or nodded to a fellow foreigner here in LOS, very few acknowledge back. Yes I always did it in my home country too, same same but different.
