WOW! "He said a racket could have been involved in stealing the stickers, but the preliminary investigation found no official government involvement." Diplomatic pouch?

More bad news for Thailand and it's tourism money maker.

Thais never do anything bad in the public eye in these kind of cases, the standard format. Once they [the officials looking into it] find it is Thais, then it will go into the quagmire of paperwork and be lost etc..
Also, why arrest the people with the stamp/visa in their passport? I understand questioning them as to where they actually got their visa from and making them produce evidence, if they can not, then arrest them. So, has this already been done?

Maybe it is the phone call the 2 Italians made to the Italian police, who then called the Lumpini police office in the earlier article, that has resulted in such quick response and action.
-
Falls in quite nicely with the 2 Italian tourists that were accused of having fake ATM cards, and held to ransom for 2 million Baht in Nana. It was on TV earlier. Lucky no to have gone with them.

@culicine, I agree with you on that. I know back in my country (UK) a lot of people would not help you, either in fear of them getting beaten themselves, or sued.

You could try these, OK it is Facebook, but they do have a lot of stuff for ex-pats, and you could also post something on there.

Ubuntu Edge
in Linux
Unfortunately, I have not. I do wish to but really for the actual phone, not just for a mention in the founder pages.

Hahaha, very funny and true. Also have to think about the exchange rates that have dropped too, not just inflation. When I 1st came here 100bht = £13 (£1=75Bht) approx and that was LT and now it is equivalent to nearly £21(£1=48Bht).

Hahahaha! This will end up as a troll thread.

I think this is a bit fishy myself, excuse the pun as it is not intended. I find it a bit strange how after 10 years they have never caught this man and now, a week later or so after an article about the human trafficking that happens here in LOS, they have caught a BIG FISH in the human trafficking in the area the and they know he has a "large client base".

A democratic country, WOW! Do not voice your opinion on something that is classed as freedom of speech in a normal democracy.

Also, the place that you bought the new phone from can cut your current sim for you, as they should/may have a tool that does it. The only prob with doing it yourself is that if you cut it too small etc, the sim becomes useless.

Yet another fine example of the judicial system?

What M4 students aren't fluent in Russian?
M4? Isn't that Grade 9?
Grade 4 is IMHO Prathom 4........or is the Thai information wrongly translated?
Yes, you are correct in your thoughts. I used to teach English to year 5 (grade 5) P5, average age 10.
I've been teaching Grade 4 at a Korean School in Vietnam for the last six years and nearly all of my students have their eleventh birthday in Grade 4.
That's a western 11th birthday, not an Asian one. They were all a year old when they were born, Confusing sometimes.
I am fully aware of the way the Asian thing works with age, thank you. But, as you will see the key word was average. I taught for 2 years at P5, some were turning 11, and some had nearly a school year before their 11th birthday.
Even so, my point is that @joepattaya1961 is correct in his assumption. Primary education and not Secondary.

OK, cheers for the info. But, that is a bit of a pain having to open the full website everytime you get an update. However, I do understand.

As of today, details of a new reply on any topic I have been following has disappeared from the email notification. So I now have to open up the full TV website to read the reply.
Is any one else having this issue, or is it just me?
Thanks in advance.

Here is a link to the actual Bitcoin Web page: http://bitcoin.org/en/. Have a read and as you go through there is a link in it that goes into detail how it works within the introduction, "Going down the rabbit hole" there is an actual 9 page PDF about it all.
The problem with this type of idea, to becoming a main currency, is that the authorities do not get their extortionate fees paid for the same service, that is if they understand it. It is very similar to the Torrent idea and The Pirate Bay site. It is for the masses not the 1%ers you see in the world, or the same idea as an open source operating system for a PC/notebook etc..

Hahaha! So forward thinking, as usual. Who, I wonder, actually read and understood anything about? And please, no trolls. I am being rhetorical.

And i quote " alot of good places for 2500thb a month "
Omg !
At least quote correctly if your going to quote what someone has stated.
you will find a lot of good places in that will start from 2500 per month (no A/C), 3500 (with A/C).I believe that is the quote your referring to, which I do actually know is correct.

Hi mjef, if the pool is not as important then you will find a lot of good places in that will start from 2500 per month (no A/C), 3500 (with A/C). All in pretty good order, but you will be in areas that will take you at least an hour travelling to the school and some not so close to the MRT or BTS. PM me if you want to know a bit more. It is really down to what you actually need or what you would like.
Thai Actor Tony Jaa to join 'Fast & Furious 7'

I liked the Ong Bak movies, the trouble is, there is a vary big and good movie industry here, unfortunately these films only get shown in the cinema and never or very rarely on TV. Tony Jaa is possibly the biggest internationally known Thai SUPERSTAR. Fair play to him.
