No rhyme or reason to arrest her.
I believe it is so she cannot form a government in exile. That is why you will find the right honorable General asked for all MP's from PTP to turn up yesterday.
Penkair stated on TV tonight that the PTP will defy the return to democracy (no surprises there) and form a govt in exile with thaksin the unelectable convicted criminal fugitive.
What a golden opportunity, for Thaksin, to for a government in exile.

Please exercise care in what you post and do not post information that is not true.
I think if most people reasonably follow the advice of their embassy and consult with the locals about what is happening in your area we should be OK.
The current tensions are between different factions within the Thai political system. Foreigners are not a general target.
At the moment it is very hard, if not impossible, to get up the date info from embassies. Even their websites lag behind current events.

How so very humble
Seems he's trying to make out that he is a national hero, just what"sacrifices " did he make.

What they should do, and would go a long way to help the country, is to remove all under performing, useless governors, eg the governor of Phuket, these people have the power and authority to make change but refuse to do so.

Well father in law and the guy who rents wifeys paddy have been waiting for their rice payments since October. Hopefully the Junta will be good for their word and pay the poor farmers within 20 days.
The problem I see is the country, does not have the money to pay them, if they "find" money then what else suffers.

Honda is a crappy car anyway, they use too much recycled materials in the manufacturing process e.g. your coke or beer can that you drank has been recycled is somewhere in the body of the car, and if you “fart” next to the car it dents the body work.
So you're saying Hondas are made of aluminium? I think not.... but hey, many companies use recycled material...so I assume there is something wrong with you, maybe you've been recycled one time too many.

Ah Thailand, the only place, I know of, where an on the run fugitive can tell an Army coup leader he rejects his proposals. Come back, to Thailand Thaksin, be brave, and stand by those who support you.

Correction, The M4 has selective fire options including semi-automatic and three-round burst (like the M16A2 and M16A4), while the M4A1 has the capability to fire fully automatic instead of three-round burst (like the M16A1 and M16A3). Now, I hope this bring to an end the discussion on what an M4 is.
Sorry General Grant, you are 150 years out of touch. Google or Wiki it!!!!An M4 is a rifle, not a "submachine gun". It is not even an automatic weapon.
The M4 is a short barrelled M16 A3 and DOES have a 3 speed gear box. i.e. Safe, semi, & full auto. That qualifies it as an assault rifle, a machine gun, or any definition of a rifle form weapon that shoots full auto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They may not have been around in the US Civil war but they are right here & now for the UDD militia wanna-be's; trying to start a Thai civil war. Good it is out of circulation, and it's owner.
M4 is a motorway in the UK....

Oh dear, there's one in every forum...

How is that tire cleaner/polisher? I imagine if you use that alot, you could preserve the tire better. Maybe they will not harden up as fast?
Yep, treating 29% of tire with something the makes it glossy will work wonders (assuming 70 series tires - adjust percentage as applicable)
And how many people only clean/polish the out facing edge of the tire....

water stagnates in the shower pipe, the solution is not to hang up, but letting it hang down until next shower. With this heat, it smells like sewer.
What... never heard such rot. Granted, water stagnates, but not that quickly, otherwise my hose water would smell along with and taps in the house and the flushing toilet.

'Huge illegal firearms seized in Samut Sakhon'
Key word 'huge'. NOT.
It's huge if your on the wrong end of it.
A stick appears HUGE if you are on the wrong end of receiving a hiding from it... but what you and others seem to have lost the plot on is that the use of the word here is not correct... a HUGE cache of firearms it is NOT.

In the massacre of Trat fewer weapons were used. But so funny it is not.Tomacht8, lighten up mate.... no matter how you look at it...HUGE is wrong. The death of one person is not funny, but that is NOT what is being khwaibah's comment...Geez

lol..you beat me to it... the reporter/editor loses a lot of credibility. Huge, I was expecting RPG's, boxes of grenades, grates of AK 47's, or M16's, even a tank or two....ok, only joking about the tanks.

Outrageous! You'd never find British politicians
getting caughtdoing anything like that.No government is immune, but once caught it is how the guilty are dealt with and I suggest to you, any British MP's caught would be dealt with a lot more severely than any in Thailand.

Hasn't the OP just described government bureaucracy EVERYWHERE? If it's fast and efficient, it wouldn't qualify as a government agency.
Um no... case in point..I'm in Mukdahan, to get my wife a passport we had to travel 166 k's to Ubon Ratchitani, wait 40 minutes our number to be called, she goes sit, does the interview, fills out a pile of forms, has her photo taken, then off to another window to pay... then of course return to Mukdahan. Back in Oz, I go to the Post Office, fill out one form have my photo taken, show my drivers licence, pay and all done(deal with one person), total time, less than 15 minutes. Most government offices I've been to are a one stop shop, I see one person and everything is done. Here you go from one person to the next, to the next to the next.....

Until the interim PM addresses the nation, it can be nothing other than a coup. They can call it "martial law" and say it's not a coup, but everyone knows what's going on here.
The infamous Ed, from Phuket would argue with you....but then, he tends to argue/ridicule many people who don't share his view.

Great News!
One step forward to the eventual solution for Thailand.
Really, history proves, for Thailand, after 11 coups, they still haven't managed to find a "solution." It would appear Thailand simplify does not the necessary people to form a stable, honest government.

Incompetence returns...and you would think he'd be embarrassed to admit he can't control his officers...dam-n, saying that should be enough to get him sacked.... Why doesn't the governor do his job and step in.

And what has that got to do with it. Oh wait, you still believe in that urban myth that says if you go swimming after eating you will get a cramp... time to get up to date.

Wasn't that the Senator who 'accidentally' shot his wife? A few years back one accidentally hosed down an assistant or someone putting his uzi on a restaurant table. It was lunch time, if I recall correctly.
Yes it was...we will never here anymore about it.... cover up after cover up, in many countries it would bring down the government.

The fact that the head of the Ministry of Culture would say that the reason they shot down a proposal to make English the official second language of Thailand because "some people" might wrongly assume Thailand had once been a colonized says pretty much all that needs to be said in terms of how strongly this is implanted into the Thai psyche.
And unless their attitude towards English as a 2nd language changes very quickly, their integration / contribution and benefit from the AEC will be minimal. But hey! By all accounts Thailand will be its hub!?!
Sure, as long as everyone agrees to speak Thai :-)
Oh dear, another one who fails to understand, English is THE international language of business... Thai is NOT, sorry.

...Wow, such deep thought, sorry, but you are wrong dude, once dead, I'm dead, no problems or worry in this temporal realm. I fail to understand how you can twist the meaning of my thread, but I guess you have an axe to grind...best you go "grind" a do, I'm not interested in your dribble..... If you can't stick to the question posted then start your own thread.... tosser.
So if you don't think you'll meet the maker, I don't understand the purpose of your original post. You seem slightly confused - perhaps a priest could help you more than a bunch of anonymous strangers on the internet
