  1. RIP fella. Fair on you for swerving, although bad luck. Next time, just hit the idiot!

I hope the motorcycle rider feels guilt... but I very much doubt it. sad.png

I bet he did a runner and never looked back.

I doubt he/she feels any guilt.... Thais have a much different perspective on death than we foreigners do.

Which is why, a long time ago I made a resolution in the case of motorcycles trying to overtake me or coming down the wrong lane or pulling out in front of me.... never to make emergency avoidance maneuvers where there is either other traffic on the road, pedestrians near by or ANY thing that can make me or someone else suffer... Just hit them.

I bet you don't like sweeping statements about falangs yet you make an assumption that it was a Thai on the motorbike, why could'nt it have been a falang coming home from the bars. Oh and by the way how many motorcyclists have you mowed down since you made this resolution Rambo?

  2. It's so clear why some of you are so supportive of this guy -- not.

Suthep may well be a nut, he may well be all you say, without a person like this to do something what on earth will this Land be like. Go think, if it was a jelly fish opposing the wrongs I would support it's healthy, YOU ????

I gather that you used Bing to translate this???

  3. im curious to know what sound the whistle blowers would make if by accident or intention a whistle managed to find its way into their anal passage

No wonder Thais thing Farlangs are a stupid bread

we have you as an example

You might go back and learn some proper English before you write rubbish on this forum. I assume you meant think instead of thing and breed instead of bread?

  4. As it happens my Thai g/f is coming with me to see Ireland next month and I'm taking her all around the country for 5 weeks. While doing research on places to bring her I use google maps and click on the icon that brings up photos of the different areas. Yesterday it struck me that my own country is every bit as beautiful as Thailand if not more so. The only advantage of Thailand is the weather, cheap food and cheap Isaan bar girls and of course you can get nice places to stay in Thailand for 1/3 the price. I can understand where you're coming from about the Scottish Islands and I'd love to visit there someday. By the way, whenever I do the same kind of search on Google maps of Thai areas its mostly photos of precarious electricity lines and poles wats that I see.

  5. Get an appraisal of the going market price.

Set your asking price at 10% less.

Send email with picture, appraisal and asking price to every realtor operating in your area. Tell them if they sell the house within 60 days you will give them commission 1% higher than the going rate.

    Worked for me in Pattaya.

Well I'd love to be buying a house from you,not much of a business brain there. You advise the guy to set the asking price at 10% less than the current market price and you want him to offer the realtor vultures 1% extra. Are you joking?

  6. Typical local report with conflicting info..

One says it was taking off..another says was at 500 feet..one or the other!

It has only one power source, therefore it is not a hybrid..

Anyway RIP to the pilot...sounds like engine failure and he may well have/shouldhave survived the crash , but drowned once in the water...

About 1 million baht to buy when i last enquired,[5-6 years ago] so yes they are not cheap

Read it again I saw nothing conflicting.......500 feet from shore ! which usually means out not up
