Perhaps it's more a case of working without a permit as opposed to begging. Leave it to the coppers. Hardly worth while getting upset about.  We're all people of the world. It's their way of making a living. There are other people selling a lot worse than these people.

What were the sentences for the others? 94 years for the Rohingya guy. What about the Thai general and police? What did they get for there involvement? Similar sentences would be in order but I see no mention. Maybe a week or two at the temple.

It won't be many. As stated in another story it's only the small unimportant things that stimulate a response of outrage from the population and it also helps if the perpetrator is non Thai. 

If only all this discontentment and anger could be channelled into getting a certain real villain brought to justice. Mr Red Bull and the like. 

Funny how small things outrage the people while nothing seems to come of serious crimes committed by the elite. Small things.......

...almost a case of unThainess. Not sure "Thainess" is an apt description. The article suggests this is common place in Thailand but probably less common than a lot of other countries. Good on the cop if the article is accurate. A good worldy citizen worthy of praise.
